Clear communication from the owner allowed simple access to the unit whuch is situated in a living complex.
It has a small but functional kitchen with hob to complete basic cooling if required.
This was just a very comfortable stay

Bad Essen is a nice little cosy village.
Bad Essen is a nice little cosy village. The center of the village contains a cluster of quality nice little restaurants, hotels and cafes, housed in beautiful old half-timbered buildings. On the central square there are a number of cozy terraces where you can enjoy a coffee and cake, a glass of beer, breakfast, lunch or dinner. The village is located on the edge of the Wiehengebirge, a beautiful wooded hilly area, up to 220 m high glacier moraines, where endless walks through nature are possible. With a bit of luck you can spot wildlife.

Lovely town with nice little cafe bars and restaurants .Nice walks but I wasn't fit enough to get up in the forest area. Nice walks down to the canal, beach bar and Greek restaurant . We were there for my dons wedding in a village called slipol

Cute little town with half timbered houses.
Cute little town with half timbered houses. There are some small restaurants in town with outside seating for coffee/lunch and a few options for dinner. We went to Tecklenburg which has a fantastic konditorei named Cafe Rabbel. Highly recommend it. Osnabruck is only a half hour drive as well and is a nice city with a lot more dinner options. Really enjoyed our 3 day stay. Not sure if I would stay longer unless you were to go cycling.

Wonderful hotel and staff. The best location in town. We had an apartment with 2 bedrooms. Although the building from the outside has the charming Fachwerk look, it's completely renovated inside. All modern amenities you need, very clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was spectacular, local ingredients, variety and quality.
The staff was great!
I'll definitely be back.

Lovely hotel!, fantastic staff that are very helpful. Large rooms that are very clean and homely, comfortable beds, great shower. Location is lovely surrounded by forests and a 10min walk from town. Silence at night, quick WIFI (no phone signal), fridge with cold drinks in reception, great restaurant with vegan options on site. TBH pretty perfect.

Great appartment in Bad Essen. We stayed here for 6 nights with our newborn and had a good time. The appartment has everything you need and is really spacious. It is quiet in the small garden and it offers a nice view on the forest. The host is very kind and easy to contact.

We had an excellent stay! Very nice accomodation, clean and the beds are very comfortable. Friendly hosts, even brought extra wood for the fireplace. Situated in a tiny village, forest around the corner. Bad Essen, 5min away has all you need.
