We stayed just one night on our way home - the hotel was perfect for our needs, the location was perfect - just minutes off our route, the room was lovely and clean, beds were comfy, the restaurant was amazing! Both the dinner and the breakfast were perfect traditional and modern German food.

The staff is very nice and the place is clean and comfortable.

The property is in an ideal location for exploring the village of Untergruppenbach and surrounding areas. Our family room with terrace was a wonderful room with an outdoor terrace and garden to enjoy after a busy day . Regina was a fantastic and friendly host. Nothing was too much trouble and we enjoyed our conversations together and her recommendations for places to eat and visit. We would love to visit and stay again. Our hosts were very friendly and even though we couldn’t speak English the lady who was hosting us rang her son to speak to us over the telephone in English to organise our breakfast options. All super friendly and couldn’t do enough . The location is amazing opposite the castle with lovely walks leading to it and outdoor seating for drinks and food where we had our evening meal. Also down the road from a lovely Italian restaurant and a wonderful local pub run by jhurgon. Immaculate bedrooms and bathroom.

Fantastic property. The bar has a great atmosphere at night. Food was really good. The room was beautiful with an amazing view.

Staff is very friendly, experienced with dogs which creates a relaxed atmosphere where even our reactive dogs were calm. Breakfast is amazing! Evening buffet on Wednesday (game in this case) was outstanding, the waiting staff there very nice and friendly.

Well, there were a very lovely women hosting us all three days. And as a staff she has Ukrainian women who called us and provide all the extra question we needed. The breakfasts were tasty. The house is beautiful and at the end we have received a bottle of natural wine as a gift.

Everything about this hotel was lovely. Great room, great food / drink and lovely setting. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful The kids loved the digger in the play area

Nothing, could not stay there. Had to find another stay for the night.

Excellent evening meal and breakfast. Secure parking for our motorbike.
