NorwayWe had a great studio number 3. With a balcony and a nice view of the castle and the river. They have the best air conditioning ever it was amazing during the hot weather. Lots of parking lots right next to the hotel. Nice with a restaurant on the hotel. The staff are helpful too. It’s close to the old town only few minutes walk. We look forward to comeback again. We had a wonderful time.

Cochem is a beautiful part of the Mosel wine valley.
Cochem is a beautiful part of the Mosel wine valley. It has a very picturesque castle, and market square. There are plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants to meet everyone’s requirements.
For a weeks stay there is plenty to do.
We can highly recommend walking up to the castle, the view is spectacular. Or take a river cruise to Beilstein or a round trip to Treis-Karden. You can get off the boot to have a look round for a couple of hours before returning to Cochem.
The Bundesbank-bunker is also worth a visit.
Or bring your bikes…..the bicycle paths are perfect.

Cochem itself is a very small town and 1 morning is enough...
Cochem itself is a very small town and 1 morning is enough to explore. There's obviously beautiful countryside and activities nearby. The town has a very touristy feel to it and the shops and bars sometimes reflect that a little too much unfortunately. Saying that there are some lovely spots and it's worth a visit.

Cochem is a beautiful and very atmospheric town on the Moselle. We enjoyed walking through the old town, visiting the castle, taking boat trips, and exploring the surrounding villages and vineyards by car. It is a very good base for a relaxing holiday, with lovely views, good local restaurants, excellent wine, and easy access to other places such as Trier and Luxembourg.

A small old city with wonderful location at the bank of Mosel, close to the City centre (Altstadt), Reichsburg Cochem, Gastromies (multiplexed), wonderful walking along the Mosel or small hiking to the Reichsburg Cochem (a must if you are in Cochem)

What a stunning place! You must visit the beautiful
Reichsburg Castle. A shuttle bus runs from the town bus station. Take a trip down the Moselle river to get a different perspective of the views. We planned to visit the Bundersbank Vault but ran out of time. Get an amazing gelato from Bortolot on the promenade. Burg Eltz castle is worth a visit but be prepared for quite a long walk down. We should’ve taken the shuttle bus! It’s a medieval castle untouched by war and has remained in the same family for the last 800 years.

Was able to tour both Cochem Castle and Burg Eltz in my 3 night stay. Burg Eltz is definitely recommended with only a 1.5h commute from Cochem. Avoid Gaststatte Noss at all costs! (Check their Google reviews.) Instead go to Zom Stuffje and Castello! Other than that, great town for history buffs.

The hotel is very well located with great views across the river to Cochem and the castle. I chose the hotel for covered parking for my bike. I arrived early, due to bad weather and there was no problem in checking in early.
The range of food served for breakfast is outstanding, in choice and quality, setting you up for the day.
Staff are very friendly and helpful too.

The hotel is in an exceptional location in Cochem really close to the train station on feet and also by car while the hotel also offers a restaurant with good food. I believe it’s a bit pricey but this is basically because of the location and Germany in general. However the staff was polite, friendly and really nice and helpful with anything we needed.

Breakfast was nice, friendly staff, very helpful. The view from the front room is nice, of course, as the river Mosel is beautiful. though a nice hotel, lots of wood (like in German hotels) and gives a bit of a dated impression. But for Cochem, yes, I can recommend this hotel.

The room size was excellent. It was more like an apartment than a hotel room, with a small but well equipped kitchenette and a balcony. Only a short walk to the centre of Cochem. The owner answered several of my phone calls immediately. Very happy overall with this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for a few days. It is a perfect hotel for a visit to Cochem: neat, clean, comfortable beds, a spacious room, and a delicious breakfast in the morning where a private pot of coffee is served. And not to forget, very friendly staff.
