Location outside of the city. Its not a typical chain hotel where everything is available 24/ 7 but honestly this also adds charm to its character. Property builds on heritage of the buildings giving it very genuine feel during the stay. They do facilitate dogs which in my case is a big winner ! Rooms are very clean and staff is extremely helpful and facilitating even if one comes late. Breakfast is fabulous.

Generally in expectations of activities offered, you get what you expect. Everything is in close proximity and it is easy to get around. It does not seem to be very busy though. Maybe some kind of events could help.

The Schwichtenberg bakery and Da Capo restaurant were both...

The Schwichtenberg bakery and Da Capo restaurant were both excellent. EDEKA is a great place to shop for gourmet foods & wine. The village feels so green - full of verdant meadows and forests. It is quiet and idyllic (except for the Schützenfest ;-) ). Almost everything can be reached on foot. It would be helpful if local restaurants and merchants would start accepting VISA and Mastercard debit cards; none of the ones we visited would take them (not even European cards).

A very nice place with a pizzeria within the facilities. They close the Pizzeria at 10pm but we arrived just after but we were not in for a pizza, just a beer. They served us a beer and we could stay in the terrace outside after closing. Very friendly staff. Heidepension is an excellent option if you, like us, need to take a break from Autobahn. Easy to fknd about 2 km from the Autobahn. Bispingen is about 2.5 hours south of Puttgarden.

It's the perfect place if you want to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city life. The property has cows and horses close by and loads of open space. Bispingen and the surrounds are great for a run at any time of the day to clear the mind, the air is clean and fresh. There are some fun amenities close by (if you want entertainment) and small shops in the town. The people are friendly.

I was travelling with my daughter from Iceland back to the Czech Republic and we needed a hotel for one night. The accommodation exceeded my expectations. Reasonable price, rich and tasty breakfast, spacious and clean room, nice bathroom, friendly staff. Simply German quality. Absolutely recommended!
