We stayed in one of the private spa suites. It’s probably the nicest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in - private sauna steam room and jacuzzi were amazing. Restaurant was great too.

Surrounded by the forests of the Lower Harz region, the Naturresort & Spa Schindelbruch offers modern rooms, a large spa and a country-style restaurant. It is located close to Stolberg.

We enjoyed a short romantic break. The location was perfect for this purpose. The hotel is located in a beautiful area of the Harz, surrounded by a wonderful forest. However, it was easy to find the hotel and, as we were travelling by car, we were able to easily get around and visit Stolberg, the Rose Park in Sangerhausen and other interesting places. The hotel grounds are also incredibly beautiful. Although the lower park was closed due to the construction of the new swimming pool, our room nevertheless faced the front of the hotel grounds and we enjoyed the view undisturbed. The breakfast and dinner were super lovely with an excellent selection of food. Perhaps the restaurant should consider displaying the wine bottles when they only serve a glass of wine, instead of bringing a glass already filled with wine to the table from outside. The wellness area with swimming pool is excellent. I had a facial and a massage. And it lived up to the highest expectations. I would definitely do it again if I had a longer stay.

The Hotel is set in a marvelous town in a very green location. Staff were friendly and easily available if needed. The rooms were immaculate and spacious. The breakfast was fresh , tasty and various . The hotel has a great restaurant that serves very good food.

Superb breakfast, lovely staff, wonderful location. The room was fine and the bed comfortable. Outdoor seating at the restaurant was comfy, the hotel has a nice atmosphere, and the food was good.

Situated in Stiege and only 20 km from Hexentanzplatz, Thale, Schloss Stiege features accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking.

What an amazing place! This has been by far the most cosy and wonderful glamping tent we ever stayed in. The owners were very approachable and kind. Literally anything was thought of to make it a convenient and enjoyable stay, with all the kitchen equipment provided and a clean private bathroom with a pretty fancy shower. Perfect location for a mountain bike trip! We enjoyed the wonderful quiet surroundings of the central Harz by bike and steam train, but relaxing on the porch of our tent was just as great. Can't wait to return!
