Beautiful and comfortable hotel in the heart of the Black Forest. The rooms were really spacious and comfortable. The room included a terrace with nice and calm views. Breakfast buffet was good.

The breakfast was perfect and the owner said we could also make ourselves something to take away. Also is the place perfekt for hikingholidays in the black forest

Super friendly staff. We had dinner in the Biergarten outside next to the river. Food was very good, nice beers. There is a snooker table in the basement. The rooms are nice and clean. The bathroom was a bit small but okay.

Location is superb, over 1,000 mts up in the Black Forest with views that were sublime. Two pools and wellness center what’s not to like! Thoroughly enjoyed my one night stay. Will return.

The entire atmosphere is romantic and amazing, with stunning views from the balcony. The staff are very friendly, making us feel incredibly welcome. The breakfast and dinner at Silberberg were some of the best meals I’ve ever had at a hotel. The sauna area was fantastic. This is the best hotel I’ve visited so far!

The location is amazing. Every day the view from our balcony looked more beautiful. We were lucky to have stayed a week in November when it was bright sunshine so we were able to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Cycling is so easy as the hotel really is in the middle of the forest but glad we had e-bikes as steep slopes all around. The bridge directly into the forest was an instant immersion into to Schwarzwald. We also took advantage of the wellness program and did qi-jong in the fresh air and reminded ourselves to slow down and breathe! The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Big shout out to our waitress Anna too.

During my stay, it was my wife's birthday, they had a great detail preparing a special breakfast for her, we will definitely return. The staff was very attentive and helpful.

I chose this hotel for a weekend getaway in the Black Forest, as it was close to some hiking paths I wanted to explore and it offered half-board and a fitness centre. The staff was extremely friendly and I was able to communicate with them in English, since my German is still quite rudimentary. There was enough parking space outside when I arrived, but a garage at an extra cost can also be arranged. Google Maps directions were also very clear and precise. The hotel is comfortable overall. I especially enjoyed the Christmas decorations, mainly in the dining room. Speaking of dining, the food was very good and they had plenty of options the evening I ate there, including vegetarian. The breakfast buffet was also plenty enough, with eggs, cold meats, cheese, cereals, fruit, etc. The gym is quite small, but I could get a run and some stretches done (I took a towel from my room, and maybe you should bring a water bottle as well, but there’s a little buffer station by the pool that is next to the gym. I also managed to use the pool and do some laps, but I was hoping to find a place to sit or lay down, like a chaise-longue, but there wasn’t enough space and everything was taken over or “reserved” with towels and robes by other people. But the water temperature was ok and the pool looked cleaned. My tiny complaint is about the room. The room itself is more than adequate for one person, but the bed was very uncomfortable and there was only one very soft pillow. I had to fold some of the towels inside the spa basket to make an extra “pillow”, but I didn’t sleep well at all. Also, the bed was quite spacious for one, but the duvet cover was single-sized… Luckily I found some blankets in the wardrobe to keep the duvet from coming off near my feet and to keep me warmer. Also, the bathroom is quite dated, especially the shower. Also, no body lotion, so I’m glad I brought my travel-sized one as well as my shampoo and Havaianas (for the pool). The wellness area is really nice with beautiful views, would be great if it went on a little longer into the evening instead of closing at 19:00, although the pool is still available until 21:00. I really liked the food the served in the evening and overall would love to come back here again.

Warm people, nice food (breakfast and dinner), perfect location to explore the Black Forest. The room was big, comfortable and always clean.
