Breakfast was wonderful. Location perfect...hiking trails right out the door.

location, place, quiet rooms and nature

excellent dinner. view from my room to the hills

The views of the river and mountain side. The isolation and peace all around. The jacuzzi bath tub in the room was such a pleasant surprise. We did not have breakfast so I cannot comment on that.

High spec apartment. Helpful staff. Walkable to town centre.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Everything was perfect for our one night stay. Beautiful area.

We were so warmly welcomed by Ines despite our midnight arrival, the location, the room, the service are perfect, but the most valuable is the absolute warmness in owners attitude to the clients and great attention to all small details and requests. The size and design of the suites are splendid.

Many interesting decorations all over the hotel with many of them featuring witches. Decent breakfast buffet (for 10€ was included in the booking). With an open window one can listen to the river flowing and the birds singing. Front door opens wireless at night with a chip. Added a picture of a stairway down to the clean river behind the hotel and of the wall decoration in room we had.

The staff are spot on. Wonderful ppl and this makes the stay great. The hotel is nice for a tiny village. The food is good. The rooms are clean. I recommend it only for relaxation. The village is small and cute. I recommend u have a car to move around.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything was great, and we really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is not only perfectly located (opposite the Rathaus and on the marketplace), it also has a large parking (both inside and outside). The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was a highlight by uts quality and variety. The restaurant was excellent as well. Our room was large (family) and quiet, the bathroom as large and with enough towels for everyone and more. The facilities were very clean, We had a wonderful stay at the Weißer Hirsch and we're very happy with our choice of hotel and city. Wernigerode is absolutely charming.

Great location, handy for the station and town centre. Great staff, spacious, modern rooms. Very clean. Excellent breakfast.

Excellent location right by the town square, very picturesque. Very helpful hosts who offered free bus tickets. A snack and drink area based on a system of trust.

The private sauna for free - a dream - the location and the rooms as well as the breakfast. A dream

Liked everything. Breakfast was also good. The kitchen staff was excellent .

The staff are very friendly. The rooms were clean and very nice.

Breakfast is very good, support from the stuff was excellent.

I like the hotel and the atmosphere in the town!

The room was modern and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is ideally situated.

Good hotel for this money. Very good breakfast.

This hotel is one of the best stays in Weingerode this is the second time we have stayed there as we base it around the trip on the Hartz Steam Railway to Brocken it is in an excellent position to view all the train movements during the day The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful even though we did not manage to speak much German they did spoke very good English and were very very helpful the food was first class and freshly cooked the hotel was spotless ie shower etc the rooms were absolutely spotless we are planning a return trip

Very good stay. Nice hotel. Nice location. Good breakfast. Very helpfull staff. Sauna after all day at work was perfect.

Hotel was lovely and staff were really good. Hotel had a good atmosphere especially in the restaurant area in the evening. Would recommend eating there - the prices are food are very good so not worth going elsewhere. Some reviews moan about breakfast - it was fine, ok so not hot food but not the end of the world. There was plenty there to satisfy most tastes. Hotel in a good position right in the centre of Wernigerode and not too far from railway station. Can't praise staff highly enough, really added to the stay.

Great location to walk into oldtown centre only take 12 mins. Kitchen came with all required implements to effectively use and plenty of plates and cups. Nicely decorated and clean. We were all happy with our stay and will pick this place again if we come back.
