The property was pleasant and the hosts were helpful and kind.

Good location and I got what I needed on my journey to my destination.

The breakfast is to die for. I haven't seen such rich breakfast and delicious in years. The bed was very comfortable, it felt like sleeping on a cloud. Free parking space on the premise. Sun chairs and possibility to have breakfast outside. We had a quiet room and it was really great.

All was fine except having to run across the very busy road to get to reception, breakfast, bike shed etc. Breakfast is unequaled in this price category.

They are friendly people , landscape is amazing

The rain was torrential when I arrived and the car parks were full. The manager came out with an umbrella and guided me into an extra space. I was in a single room which was small but well furnished and comfortable. The views and location the next (sunny) morning were excellent.

Stumbled upon Bad Bergzabern last minute on my road trip to Slovenia, and I couldn’t believe my luck! Not only was the price incredibly reasonable (only 89 euro), but the quality of the facilities far exceeded expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, making me feel right at home. The town itself is charming and cosy, surrounded by beautiful countryside – perfect for a relaxing stroll after a long drive. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with free WiFi and air conditioning – a must in summer! The restaurant was absolutely lovely, with delicious food and a great atmosphere. Best of all, it's conveniently close to the main highway, making it an ideal stopover without feeling like just another roadside hotel. All in all, a top-notch experience. Truly a hidden gem – highly recommend!

Everything’s a big wow! The restaurant, the room (newly renovated with old features) and setting in the cobbled Winzergasse

In the middle of the small town

Good value for money option, short walk to a lovely small town, great parking and decent breakfast

This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in. A modern building, very well appointed and equipped. My room was in effect a suite. Staff most pleasant and efficient. The breakfast lived up to its description as gourmet. The restaurant too was of a high standard. Plenty of parking space and a quiet location. I could not fault anything.

the breakfast was exceptional. the hospitality was above what i have experienced in 5star hotels. would recommend the hotel and its hosts to anyone .

I liked the whole set-up. The location, staff , breakfast, booking in, everything.

Very welcoming and kind people. I have a gluten and lactose allergy and they were very kind to offer options

Lovely, comfortable spacious room and bathroom, mmaculately clean. Staff were lovely but we had communication difficulties as our German is very poor. Breakfast was very good, great variety, exceptional fresh baked cherry tart,I wish I could have eaten it all. Very good coffee. Only downside was the shower screen over the bath was not high enough so the floor got very wet. A minor issue, overall very good hotel, and value for money
