SloveniaIt was a perfect stay. The hosts are extremely nice, the breakfast was very good and the rooms were clean. There are common toilets and bathrooms: first bathroom with toilet and 2 shower and 2 sinks, second bathroom with 1 shower and 1 sink and one toilet.
There is a train station 20 minutes walk away, the train takes 45 minutes to Stuttgart (every hour). Make sure you buy group day ticket if you are 2-5 persons, it's much cheaper than single.
I would recommend this Gasthaus anytime, we had a really nice time while we were there.

Eislingen is a smallish town, approx 35 minutes by train from Stuttgart. We were in town for a sporting event, otherwise not much of interest or special attraction. However the town has great bakeries, and a lovely river running through the middle of the town,

I can modestly say that I am the right person to evaluate because according to my profession I have been in hundreds of hotels from five stars to simple accommodations all over the world. What I liked the most was the friendliness of the staff who welcomed us and of course then served us for two days.
Nowadays, the friendliness of the staff is one of the most important items, then cleanliness and everything that goes with it.
I highly recommend staying in this facility.

I booked for a colleague who has since left Germany so my comments are limited beyond relaying that he was pleasantly surprised at the standard and comfort of his stay. We'd certainly booking other employees into Eichenhof Hotel GbR. Thanks to all hotel staff for a job well done!

The hotel was clean and had all the usual amenities. It also had a gym, which was a nice addition. However, the opening hours over the weekend were quite limited, operating only from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
