Hotel Keindl meets all of my criteria: 1) Family run, 2) CLEAN, 3) Restaurant, 4) Bier Garden, 5) In-House Butcher Shop. I was very pleased on all counts, plus my room was large and very quiet. The included Breakfast has an excellent selection including some of their own meats ! Breakfast room is large and bright with plenty of room for moving around the breakfast offerings. There was a person on duty checking me in to the breakfast and directing me where to sit. Very helpful too. Dinner was very good. The servers were attentive and orders were correct. There is a Brass Band Headquarters/Clubhouse directly across the street from the Bier Garten, very convenient and they played from around 6pm till 9pm. A very nice plus ! Laundry service was excellent and a 1 day turn-around, plus very reasonably priced. Parking was available on-site and close to an access walkway you have access to with your room passkey. Staff speak English, and were very pleasant and helpful. They keep some very good candies in the tray/dish on the Reception counter.

The rooms were impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night after a day of exploring. Breakfast was a highlight of my stay. Served fresh each morning, the spread included locally sourced ingredients, hearty bread, delicious cheeses, and the best coffee I’ve had in a long time. It was the perfect way to start the day. The location is unbeatable. Nestled in a serene and idyllic part of Neubeuern, it’s just a short walk to the charming town center and conveniently located near hiking trails and other attractions. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or an active adventure, this guesthouse provides the ideal base. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the attentive and friendly staff. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, offering excellent recommendations for dining, sightseeing, and activities in the area. I cannot recommend this guesthouse highly enough. If you’re visiting Neubeuern or the surrounding region, this is the place to stay. It’s an absolute gem and one I look forward to returning to in the future.

Flintsbach is the perfect location for a longer stopover on a trip between Middle Europe and the Mediterranian Sea. The beauty of the countryside its its nativeness is marvellous. A few minutes walk of the village you can enjoy the Prealps. Hiking on the Petersberg or to the Riesenkopf is nice and you can enjoy finally the scenic view. One of the oldest rack railways is a short walk away and you can drive on the top of the Wendelstein without any stress. During summer they have a beautyful natural open-air pool with cool water from the mountains. Ideal are the transport connections with direct link to Munich by train and the nearby Autobahn.

The location of the hotel was excellent for my tour, it is a lovely family run hotel and that reflects on the service they provide which was excellent too, the hotel has lots of character with all the wooden features, ideal parking facilities to for our moto's

The location next to the highway going to Italy was amazing but still in a very calm town. A nice authentic alp-hotel with even the beds made to get tou in the right holiday mood.
