Wonderful staff! Wonderful position right by the lake. Very good restaurant and breakfast. The room is large and clean. Pet friendly!! I hand an unplanned overnight stay in Münchberg, due to a breakdown on my motorbike. The most pressing thing in such occasions is feeling that people have at least some sympathy. The staff at the Hotel Rossner were welcoming, understanding, and sympathetic from the start. They very kindly allowed me early entry to my room, which was appreciated and late departure, had I required the latter. Once repairs on my motorbike had been completed, they were happy for me to leave my luggage in the lobby wardrobe, from where I could easily retrieve it, once I had got my bike. They asked me if I had any clothes I needed drying on arrival and helped carry my luggage to my room. The room was large and pleasant, with an ensuite bathroom, desk, and TV. As others have stated, the decor may not be the latest, but it's all clean, functional, and there's no point in changing things for the sake of it. Above all, what matters is the human interaction between staff and guest and on that basis, I'd be more than happy to recommend the hotel to anyone.
