What a wonderful place. Magnificent and huge room and the best ham and eggs ever. Castle had an engagingly disordered authentic air, so much better than a 'luxury' makeover and the staff was so welcoming and charming

Large and well appointed apartment in the heart of the old town. An historic building, but with modern conveniences inside. The kitchen is very well equipped and the dishwasher was a bonus. The main bedroom is huge, with a large bed, wardrobe and chairs. The hosts were very obliging. Highly recommended.

It is a charming town with beautiful places and friendly...

It is a charming town with beautiful places and friendly people. There was a lot of reconstructions in the centre but I hope next time to be ready. I would like to know more for the history of the town. There were too many interesting places - the tower, the gate ancient door, old houses and a lot of churches, a river - but I didn't find enouph info on the same places.

Beautiful apartment with an amazing view of Forchheim from the balcony. The apartment is very well equipped and it is in a good location, around 15 minute walk to the centre of Forchheim / main station. The host was very communicative and the key was easy to pick up and drop off with the key safe.

There was air conditioning, which is a rare feature in Germany :) Breakfast was a tasty hotel buffet, where scrambled eggs or omelets could be ordered. The location is just opposite the train station.
