The room was super clean, sophisticated, and comfortable. I arrived at around 5pm, and I could easily check in with entering the confirmation code into the machine outside. They provided me with a receipt and a room card. I was so tired from a long journey, so it was perfect for me to check in by myself without needing to speak to anyone. The location was easily accessible from the Trier station and the city centre. There were dm, TKMAXX, and Aldi near the hotel where you can get food and essentials if you need.

The beds were very comfortable, the staff was friendly and spoke a few languages (FR, EN, DE). The breakfast has many choices for you, from sugary classic breakfast stuff to meat and eggs. The room was clean and modern looking, the bathroom was spacious. City center is about 20-25 minutes away, on foot. All in all, it was great.

The hotel is a five minute walk to Porta Nigra Roman Gate. The room and bathroom were large and the bed comfortable. Wifi was strong. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The copious breakfast was well presented and tasty. Trier, being germany's oldest Roman town, is a fascinating place to visit.
