The flat was a large, bright, spacious property. Located in the loft meant getting use to the slanting ceilings to avoid bumping our heads. However this is quickly done! There was a TV in the living room and in the bedroom, which we found useful. The kitchen was well equiped, although we did not cook while we were there. We had our own off street parking space, so no worries about finding a space if returning later in the evening. The house is located within a 10-15 mins walk from Haltern town centre. The host was very pleasant and we were able to access the flat earlier than specified, due to a change in our plans.

Great location if you have a dog as there is plenty of area to take the dog out for a walk. The room was really nice, super comfortable bed and quiet. Restaurant had amazing food and they made a great effort to make anything gluten free for me as that was something I needed. Staff was super nice and helpful. Must stay again in the future if I pass by the area.

Accommodation was as we expected (since we read reviews prior to booking our expectations were managed well). For one night, perfectly doable. The facilities are a bit old, but perfectly fine and everything was clean. Friendly owner and breakfast was basic but good :)

We went to visit friends, so didn't see much of the area. However, as we have been before I can recommend, cycling and walking in the area, as well as visiting the town centre and nearby towns such as Münster.

This is about the fifth time I’ve stayed at this hotel, the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area, beds are very comfortable. The pool and spa area are excellent for relaxing after a long day driving and working. Will be back again.

The hotel is in the centre of the town. The staff were great and our room excellent. No lift so had to carry all our luggage up 2 flights of stairs. The room was huge with a big modern settee and chair. Vast TV. Cycle parking was excellent. Second most expensive stay of our trip.

The room was very nice, newly renovated. At the eleventh hour we made a reservation in the Michelin star restaurant in the hotel. And it was truly great! The environment, specifically the Roman Museum is really great to visit.
