The best was the excelent service from Nancy Sanchez, she was very professional and attentive

Staff very nice. The place is very cute.

The position is perfect and the room is clean and it has all what you may need for a short stay.

Lovely comfortable period property.

Comfy beds, clean room, fast wifi and delicious dinner in restaurant.

Modern room. Old building had a lift. Beautiful restored beams from the old castle. Great heating in room. Free parking. Had a restaurant for dinner and breakfast, but had no time to use it. Amazing view over the whole valley!

Great hospitality, excellent location and professional staff

The hotel has extremely good location and is completely renovated.

We booked a 'Superior Double Room with Balcony' which was overlooking the garden and the river, offering a fantastic view. The balcony was very private, offered ample room for seatings and a parasol, and we were able to sit outside in the evening and enjoy the view. The room was essentially a suite, with another adjoining room, set as a sitting room.

Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Exemplary breakfast. Pleasant bar area (the restaurant was closed during our visit on the first weekend in January) Good sized room (Super comfort) with fabulous views across the city. Free coffees and mineral water top ups. Great location with several restaurants nearby at Elbershalle. (Artischocken was excellent, as was Essence which was tasty and good value)

Cosy room, comfy bed and a nice bathroom. Very peaceful stay

Loved the location and how cool the room was despite it being 33 degrees outside.

It was clean, the rooms were big and the staff was very nice

Very convenient location, just 15 minutes’ drive from Dortmund, yet peaceful and relaxing, surrounded by forest. A great place to unwind. The breakfasts were tasty, and even the repeated menu did not bother us. We also really appreciated the well-working A/C, which was a real blessing during the heat in Germany. What made the stay truly special was the staff: Micha at reception was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, especially as we were traveling with our cat, possibly the hotel’s first feline guest. Bogdana from housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless. Even though the hotel is very pet-friendly, everything felt exceptionally clean.

Nice hotel, serene setting and helpful staff

really nice and uncomplicated check in. really kind staff working there. room was bigger than expected, really light full because of the big windows and the cleanest. really liked the big parking spot too.

Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, central positioned in the city

The hotel is right next to the station, from where you can reach everything in and around Hagen. Even though we booked no breakfast, they prepared a little coffee, juice, cake and apples in the morning for all guests to start the day. The stay was very comfortable!

Wonderful hotel! Spotlessly clean, modern and very comfortable. Rooms are big and appear soundproof - a big plus travelling with three dogs. The staff was accommodating and super nice. Will definitely return!

The owners/personnel, very helpful and considerate A sunny room with all amenities. Safe parking. The superb restaurant a step away. The experince of true caring hotel comfort, not found easily anymore.

The room was unbelievably big, clean and comfortable. I rarely sleep well in a hotel, but this time I did. The Greek lady at the kitchen was extremely friendly and made me want to stay even more. I was just here for work, but I will certainly stay here from now on, as I need to visit Hagen every year. The breakfast was very good too

The room was really nice and the owners were really friendly. Breakfast was delicious. The area was very calm and the hotel was perfectly located, far from the main road.

Everything, fully met expectations, very nice service. Wonderfull and peacefull breakfast.
