Old historical magical place to stay. Very comfortable large room, bathroom large with plenty of hot water. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Would effeminately stay there again.

Excellent for motorcyclists , plenty parking for bikes and very quiet area

The staff was very friendly and they did their best to make me feel home. Great breakfast and warm and comfortable room. The surroundings are very beautiful.

Can we just say everything? 😄 The beds were fantastic, the air purification ventilation units done the job too. It was extremely warm here at the time of our visit but the facilities were on hand to help us to deal with the heat. They looked after my mum, who was visiting from Scotland so well that when we got her to the airport, she said I've decided to stay if only just to go back to the hotel in Steffeln 😭 The sauna and hot tub area are absolutely incredible with multiple resting areas whatever the weather may be. Breakfast selection was great with many hot and cold dishes, home made and locally sourced jams and ofcourse coffee and tea for us caffeine heads. 😋 We only ordered at the restaurant one evening but the meal we got was absolutely mind blowingly good. Salmon lattice cooked to perfection, with sweet carrots inside that just really all complemented each other perfectly. They even had a small selection of great Scottish whisky to complete the experience. Next day we had a good wander around the village and up the hills which was fantastic despite the temperature being high 20s / low 30s. Visited a working milk farm just on the edge of town which I'd advise anyone to go do, 2 more lovely people and a whole bunch of animals met. Just before check out I had such an amazing time getting a neck back and shoulder massage from Karin which really sent me to another world. Perfect end to our short stay, I'm sure we will be returning soon as my wife is in love with this place as much as I was.

Absolutely lovely hotel, with super friendly, helpful staff. Restaurant offers tasty food, and breakfast is just superb. Great location with free parking. Highly recommended!

The decoration based on all kinds of crime series is fun. Very good breakfast buffet and dining facility with plenty of room, also to sit outdoors.

Lovely old building but refurbished in a very appropriate way. You still get the feel of the old house but have a great setting. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel in a quiet relaxing area, plenty of parking, staff where very welcoming, friendly and helpful, room was a nice size, lovely and clean and tidy, bed was comfortable, bathroom and shower where lovely, food in restaurant was so good, breakfast was lovely, really nice clean lovely hotel, will stay again
