We enjoyed everything about this hotel from the breakfast in the mornings to the old timey feel lobby and dining room to the modern, clean rooms to the very belpful and friendly staff. Compared to other hotels we stayed at in Germany, this was by far the nicest. Modern, clean spacious rooms and bathroom and a more traditional lobby and dining room in a quaint little town. We chose to stay here instead of Wurzberg and glad we did. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was perfect with fresh breads, cereals, fruit spreads, yogurt, eggs, meats, cheeses, veggies, and juice. We would love to stay again!

The peaceful atmosphere was exactly what I needed after a long journey. The only small thing I missed was a kettle for making tea or simply boiling water. There was a coffee machine, which I used for hot water, so it wasn’t a major issue, but having a kettle would make the room even more convenient.

The host was fantastic. Very happy to talk. Nice simple style German breakfast with coffee, cheese, bread, ham and delicious home made cherry jam. Comfortable beds, really nice mattresses, I got a great night's sleep ready for the next stage of my bike tour. Was happy to store my bike safely inside in the lobby area.

Fantastic old building, with a history from 1382! I'm 200cm tall so I had to duck going into rooms, but it was well worth it. Good local food and wines in the comfy restaurant. Parking with possibility to charge the car just outside the city wall (200m away) Virtually no traffic around the hotel.

Absolutnie wszystko w tym miejscu może być plusem lub minusem - wąskie ulice, trudności z komunikacją z tubylcami, niebezpiecznie pyszne jedzenie oraz bardzo gorący pokój - zależnie od tego co kto lubi. Nam się bardzo podobało i na pewno wrócimy!

Perfect location. Large and fine garage for the car. Nice rooms, nice restaurant and food, very friendly and serviceminded staff/family owning the hotel.

Super stay! We drove from Greece to Rotterdam, and this was our favorite place. The photos don't really do it justice; it's very smart, with everything high quality and well thought out. There are great restaurants on-site, lovely staff, and it is set next to private stables and a forest.

Friendly staff. Very clean, good location

Great location, really responsive, kind and helpful staff. It’s an old guest house and the decoration is dated (but charming) and most importantly, the rooms are clean and tidy and the beds are very comfortable! We only stayed one night, driving through Germany but we had a really pleasant stay at this guest house and we will be back for sure.

The hotel was very clean and located in a quiet area, close to the river. Access is based on a code received after completing the reservation, and the whole process is much simpler than it seems at first. I admit I was a bit nervous initially, as I prefer the classic, “old-school” reception style, but the steps were very clear and everything went smoothly. Even without a physical reception desk, the experience was pleasant and well organized.
