Me and my wife booked for two nights and we wished we had booked for more! Truly exceptional place. The facilities are top notch, you can swim in the infinity pool with mountains covered in snow just in front of you, the 270° lounge was truly relaxing to have a chat or read a book. The spa was incredible with a sauna, a heated pool and floating chairs in a mountain lounge all overlooking the incredible views. Breakfast and dinner were both absolutely delicious, with versatile options. The rooms are spacious, very modern with alpine style. Around the place you can hike with nice hiking trails, we hiked to the eukbaur where there's a nice restaurant. Definitely would go back there, it's in our top 10 unique hotels around the world.

Absolutely beautiful grounds, decorated so pretty for Christmas. The outdoor fire pits at night were so welcoming. The one bedroom apartments were so spacious and comfortable. The underground tunnels to the different buildings were also helpful to stay out of the cold when walking to breakfast.

The location is great, with many stores and restaurants within walking distance. Parking in the city underground lot of close to the hotel and reasonably priced at 5Euro/24hr period. The proprietor of the establishment was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was amazing. If we are in the area again, I will definitely check availability for this location!

There is not much happening in Klais, other than a few walks...

There is not much happening in Klais, other than a few walks or cross country skiing in winter. Now in autumn it is a lovely, quiet base for all sorts of excursions in the vicinity. Mittenwald and Garmisch Partenkirchen are only a few km away.

Klais is very small village, there is nothing, no bakery no...

Klais is very small village, there is nothing, no bakery no shops. On the other hand it is very quiet and just a short drive to Garmisch. Some hikes can be started directly from there. There is a train and a bus station.

Thanks to the hosts’ attention and care, we felt like welcome guests. The hotel is furnished cozily and with love. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. There was a full-size hairdryer in the room. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety. Thanks to the product selection system, everything was fresh and beautifully presented. Convenient parking.
