The room was very spacious with a lovely little balcony and chairs to sit out. The hotel was very close to the pretty town centre but we were also able to walk up to the old castle through the vineyards. Great location.

Great starting point to ride on Belchen by mountain bike

This hotel is a true gem, exceptional hospitality and attention to the guests' needs. I would highlight the fantastic saunas, the very good quality breakfast, the renovated rooms and the hotel staff's kindness. At breakfast you also get a printed summary with the weather forecast of the day, 2-3 actual events / programs in the area and the dinner menu (highly recommended). We had such a nice vacation that definitely will come back in the future.

Hotel Engel is in the perfect location, walkable to everything in the city. The rooms are impeccably clean and the staff is very kind and accomodating. I would certainly stay there again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We received a warm greeting and were impressed at the level of service during our stay. The restaurant is excellent and we enjoyed sitting outside both at dinner and breakfast. The rooms are large and well appointed. If you need anything you can just ask.

Beautiful big room with balcony! It was perfect for our 3 night stay . It was very hot 34°c outside but we managed to keep the room nice and cool ! Very bright and airy with lots of window to open in the evenings . Food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive .

The apartment was extremely clean and spacious, perfectly matching the pictures seen online. The owners were very kind and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. The location, nestled in a beautiful vineyard, offers a stunning view and a peaceful atmosphere. My favorite spot was definitely the dining room, located in a turret at the corner of the building: the brightness from the windows and the surrounding panorama make this space unique and welcoming. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-maintained place.
