Minden is a lovely hidden gem.plenty to do and the bars and resturaunts do not dissapoint.location is great .a short drive to bad oyen hausen or porta for sopping.hameln and about an hour to exostein and herman monument.hanover is less than an hour and can be accessed by train.

Minden has a lot to offer especially for cyclists.
Minden has a lot to offer especially for cyclists. There are many routes to follow along the river and country lanes. The town has a cathedral and interesting old buildings as well as plenty of modern shops especially Hagemayers which had a lovely roof top restaurant. There are plentiful cafes and ice cream shops with seating in the shade.

The hotel is located in a calm area of a town. There is a self-check-in system, but it works and in case of need, there is staff on the phone ready to help. The staff was welcoming, willing to meet our wishes and professional. There was not any possibility of having breakfast in a restaurant yet, in the apartment, there was coffee, tea, water and some sweets. That was thoughtful and appreciated. The apartment is spacious and it has access to the roof, which is cool. I recommend it.

The room was very nicely equipped. Bathroom was new and very clean, shower nice strong and hot. The kitchen was very clean and the fridge had two bottles of water. In walking distance from downtown Minden.

Great hotel. Rooms large and very clean. Staff friendly and happy- receptionist great. Offered English dinner menu! That does not happen often. All just perfect for our stop.

Instead of a room we got a whole apartment with loads of space.
Staff was really kind. Definitely value for money.
The hotel is at walking distance of the city center.
