I have rated this hotel earlier, and I most certainly return here when I am in this part of Germany. This time I discovered more nice places around, and the hotel is nice as it always have been. Nice rooms with old wooden furntitures, a very good breakfast, very close, but still a quiet place, to the small railway hub Mosbach-Neckarelz with excellent communications. I have not yet tried the destillery, but I will.

Newly renovated hotel that was very comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and helped with everything we needed including parking and gluten free items at breakfast. The restaurant was closed when we were there for some reason but there are others close by. The rooms do not have air conditioning so they were warm but luckily it wasn't height of summer.

Amazing place to stay! My husband and I were hiking the Neckarsteig but chose to stay here two nights we loved it so much. The room was so big with a massive high ceiling. Modern but without taking away from the unique history of this Schloss. Very clean, comfortable bed, beautiful view over vineyard, staff very welcoming. Breakfast was the best we had in Germany so far. Can’t recommend this place enough and it’s great value for money.

Nice blend of historic outside, modern clean rooms inside. Had river view. Staff exceptional. Did everything to make stay comfortable. Beds very soft. Restaurant served good choice of food options, high standard of meat offerings in particular. Good value for the quality.
