It might be a hotel but it gives you the feeling of a warm and cozy cabin in the mountains. It might not be the hotel with the most modern amenities but "if it ain't broke don't fix it". This was truly the best hotel experience I have had as a tourist. I would also highly recommend the hotel restaurant, in my opinion it has the best schnitzel in the entire Germany! Fair warning, though there is pretty much nobody who speaks English you can get pretty far with just pointing and saying please

Staff, location, facilities, the dinner menu, everything!

Friendly staff, very accommodating. Fine old hotel, rooms of the typical southern German style that is sadly missing from other more modern tourist accommodation. Onsite restaurant, with a pleasant family style atmosphere. We just loved everything about this quaint and charming home away from home.

Swimming pool and sauna were great. Breakfast was very good, especially the Bircher Muesli. The room was quiet and big enough. Wi Fi was good.

The people were amazing, very kind and service oriented! When we arrived on the first day the kitchen was already closed, but they still made us dinner, which was greatly appreciated. They also remembered our breakfast drinks. It’s little things like this that make you want to come back. Beds were also comfortable, everything was clean. Food was very good, we chose to have dinner in the hotel every night. Good vegetarian options. Very good value for price.

I really loved my stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, modern, and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made me feel very welcome. And the view was absolutely stunning. I would definitely love to stay here again.
