Excellent location, very peaceful and surrounded by parkland. Loved the high ceilings and the grand feeling of space. On the day (Tues) I stayed the restaurant was not open for an evening meal but there are nearby restaurants about 5km away.

Boasting a garden and views of lake, Rittergut Positz is a guest house set in a historic building in Oppurg, 38 km from Theaterhaus Jena.

Such a lovely place! Beautiful, quiet, peaceful surroundings. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I had to work unexpectedly, and the staff made sure I had an excellent dinner. It was all so good.
