Quiet, peaceful, had a great night's sleep. Short drive to idyllic Brombachsee for an evening dip.

This cosy family hotel thought of everything - from little extras in the room like a fresh apple and bottles of water upon arrival to perhaps forgotten amenities to help freshen up (slippers, shower cap). I loved the personalized service for breakfast - the fried egg was crispy on the edges, yet having a yolk barely set.... The framed art posters created an upscale ambience. The beds were comfortable and the medieval inner city was quiet at night.

- city center location - big room - friendly staff

The man who ran the hotel was very friendly, helpful and attentive. Greatly location. The breakfast was better than I expected. As German prices go, the place is very affordable.

Hotel Amendes feels just like home. Very clean, Cozy and smartly decorated. Peace and serenity in the heart of the Franconian country side. Big compliments to Magdalena the owner for the warm welcoming approach and to Zaineb who took such an attentive care during breakfast time.

The hotel is well-placed in the town and has comfortable rooms. While we did not have breakfast there, we chose to dine that evening and found that the dinner menu, food and service were excellent.

Very pleasant service, beautiful surroundings, spacious rooms, charming town

the location was great, the life act at the beergarden was fun and the staff was very friendly and helpful and most of them knew what they were doing

We loved the location and the general atmosphere of the hotel. Room was spotless, food amazing, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was just one stop on a very long journey but we all wished we could have stayed longer.
