It is a lovely privately-run hotel, in ideal location: 5 min walk to Tagernsee lake, 5 min to the bike rental shop, 20 min to Wallbergbahn (the lift which goes up the mountain for sightseeing and hiking). The staff is very friendly - we arrived after official check-in time, so the keys were left for us in the mailbox, very kind) Excellent well-balanced breakfast (have food choice for both meat-eaters and vegetarians); very fresh and delicious bread and bakery! We lived in spacious 2-rooms apartment with a garden view (i believe this was a suite or lux) on 1st floor, #121. everything very tidy, bed and beddings are nice and comfortable.

This tastefully decorated, quiet, dog-friendly, family-run hotel a few minutes' walk from Rottach-Egern, on the south shores of Tegernsee Lake, was a real delight. The staff team, coordinated by the lovely Agata, was professional and discreet, the public areas felt like a home from home. We were able to use the self-check-in facility (as we arrived after hours) without any problem. Our well-behaved lab was made to feel welcome and we gladly paid the doggie supplement. We chose to have breakfast on the terrace - could also have opted for the conservatory, especially set up for guests accompanied by their furry friends. : ) Very clean and friendly, quality toiletry products (shampoo, lotion, handsoap), with thought given to those small details designed to make your stay as comfortable as possible (especially in the kitchenette!)... Breakfast very good too. We would gladly return!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The private, quiet location away from tourists makes it feel like a true hidden retreat. The design is full of character and quiet luxury, with thoughtful details everywhere. the stone-style walls and the modern, very comfortable room. The spa is beautifully designed—private, calm, and perfect for relaxing. The restaurant brings a warm Bavarian atmosphere with its traditional wooden décor, and the breakfast was fantastic. Most importantly, the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I truly felt at home and will definitely return.

Nice location with lakeview , very quiet, nice gardens, super friendly staff making you feel welcome. Beautiful and lovingly arranged Christmas decorations throughout the house making it very cozy.
