Wonderfully friendly staff Traditional hotel, Clean rooms, comfy beds Fabulous showers...... Best BREAKFAST ever..... Wish I lived close enough, I'd come for breakfast regularly.... We will certainly return .....xx

The owner is a very courteous lady who showed us the two available rooms and we choice the larger one being more comfortable and overlooking the garden.everything is clean and the room is spacious - so good to relax after our long drive! And we had dinner at the hotel and our meal was perfectly served and equivalent to a Michelin star restaurant!

A lot of people staying here seem to have some sort of mean plan. We did not, we chose from the menu and the (German) food was pretty good, we had a meat and a vegetarian option. We had some German beers and wines after dinner and stayed in a room that was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent.

The hotel had easy and free parking, great breakfast, the bedroom had a lot of space, good shower, quiet, and good staff. We enjoyed interesting conversations with the owner and Alex. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Only one thing I was missing was a tea corner so had to ask in the bar which costed me 3e. Apart from that was wonderful stay with a beautiful surroundings!

The spa facilities and the outdoor swimming pool, and gym, were outstanding. What a setting too!

This is such a great hotel! Old fashioned which I usually avoid but going by the reviews and the price I decided to give it a go. The staff are friendly, especially Sabine/Sabina (not sure which it was) who helped us with some luggage up to the second floor. She speaks pretty good English which helped as we are not German speakers and what she didn't know we were able to understand. Room was clean and comfortable with amazing views of the forest, sitting out on the balcony with a drink and birdsong all around was fantastic. Shower quite tiny and sink is in bedroom. We had a meal out on the terrace and the breakfast was good. I loved it but if you don't enjoy driving on slightly mountainous roads or being high up on a balcony then maybe don't book it (as my husband would unfortunately say..)

We throughly enjoyed the location, the historic inner city, friendly staff, comfortable well appointed room and the sunshine filled breakfast experience.

Restaurant food was awesome, very fresh, excellent winelist. Good large carpark. Very comfortable and big rooms.
