The room was large in size and very comfortable. The beds were good, there was a sofa and plenty of space. The staff were very communicative (in English) before our arrival and understanding that traffic made us later than planned. The breakfast was excellent. The grounds around the hotel were just lovely, high on a hill and perfect for a morning dog walk before hitting the road again. Would thoroughly recommend.

Loved staying here it was amazing from start to finish. Had a good selection for breakfast set out perfectly. Staff were super friendly. The on-site tour was unreal and recommended. The pub on site blew us away with an unexpected equestrian, watched horses strut their stuff while dining. This break exceeded all expectations. Staff were amazing and helpful. We will definitely revisit one day.

This is a quiet, old and very historical town, lots of character and old buildings to see. You can walk around the old walls and enjoy the views and there are a few other buildings to visit. The Hexenturm wasn't open when we visited as hoped.

Nice hotel not too far from Warstien. The Breakfast was a nice European buffet. They can provide a set Dinner if requested in the evening or there are restaurants in Ruthen, a couple of kilometres away, just be aware that some restaurants in this area want you to pay cash.

A wonderful hotel - pure and simple! We had stayed for one night last year by chance and were so impressed that we came back for a holiday. Food excellent and no problems catering for gluten-free. Staff more than helpful too. Strong recommendation
