The host is absolutely great. Super friendly, helpful, accommodating. She went out and bought two vegan sandwich spreads for my wife for breakfast, because my wife does not eat dairy or meat. Location is great and beautiful. The household feels very family like. Price is also excellent for what you get. 100% would come here again!

Loved the location. Very near to the Schwarzwald National Park and lots of hiking opportunities. The rooms were nice as well and very comfortable. There's a grocery shop within 5 minutes walking distance which is a plus. Recommended if you want to unwind and relax.

Exceptional place to stay with very warm and welcoming hosts that are willing to help with anything and everything. The apartment is immaculate and contains everything you could wish for. The BlackForest is a must.

The BlackForest is a must. Black Forest cake at Berghotel Mummelsee is superb. Best ever. Black Forest High Road (B500) is a 'must - drive road. Take some time to visit the sightseeing points on the B500. It's well worth it. Most beautiful panoramic road in Germany.

Hotel was a little dated but very clean and comfortable. The bar and snack system the host has organised is great with a well stocked bar and fridge. The host was amazing - nothing was too much trouble - Dave even drove me to the cash machine to withdraw cash so I could pay for takeaway meal. Nice balcony with stunning views. Breakfast was amazing with lots of foods on offer- better than most continental breakfasts we've eaten.

I chose this hotel because I needed some peace and quiet, and it gave me exactly what I needed. Friendly and helpful staff, a spotlessly clean, comfortable, and warm room despite it being winter, the peaceful Black Forest scenery, seamless internet access, and a kitchen available for our use. In short, everything was wonderful. Thank you.

The location is the obvious advantage of this hotel. You can have a nice morning/late evening walk around the lake when there’s almost nobody else there. The path is extremely crowded during the day. The room was super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing.

Petra is very nice and helped us a lot, the hotel is a minute walk from a supermarket, the town is very beautiful. There is a restaurant in the hotel if you wanna eat or drink beer. The appartment is very big, we had a big room, another room and a big bathroom.
