This was my fourth stay at this delightful property and each time I stayed at this property it was to celebrate a New Year. What is uniquely special about Boutique Hotel Amalienhof is their attention to detail and how they excel with the basic and fundamental requirements of a Hotel Proprietor to be Guest Centred. When I stay at any hotel I am usually quite busy following breakfast in that I am off on my morning walks to explore my surroundings. What I love to do in the late afternoon around 15:00-16:00 is to return to my hotel room to rest before going out for an evening meal. Boutique Hotel Amalienhof are a residence of quietness and tranquility where the guest can relax and not be disturbed in any way. This is so important to the guest and probably overlooked my many properties throughout the world. Boutique Hotel Amalienhof also excel with their Breakfast Buffet. It is exceptionally and diligently prepared by their very hard-working staff and presented in a very professional and clean manner all ready for their guests to enjoy each morning. It was such a joy for me to come down each morning and enjoy the exquisite surroundings of the Breakfast Dining Room whilst looking outside at a blanket of snow in the calm streets of Weimar. This was the third year in a row that I was given the same Room located on the ground floor with a view onto the Garden. I really love Room 113 and the Oval Desk is very much to my taste as a writer. I spent quite a lot of time sitting at that desk and composing my words all in the surrounding silence with only my thoughts echoing and reverberating throughout that room.
