We were traveling to Vilsek for a basketball game and found this spot very convenient to the venue. The owner was very helpful and our room was just as expected. There was a refrigerator with drinks and snacks as well as dishes! Though breakfast wasn't an option while we were there, we found a nice bakery nearby.

It was perfect for.a quick stay over. I do lots of long distance walking and this is just what I needed for the night. Cooking facilities if I wanted to cook for myself. Takeaway restaurant downstairs I opted for that option. Bit dusty here and there but generally was a nice place to stay for the night. Would use again.

We have stayed at least twice now and love the accommodation and the countryside around. No wonder the accommodation is rarely available.

Really nice staff! The rooms are great and very clean. The rooftop bar is a great addition to the hotel and is a nice place to sit down.

This unique hotel is a historic 300-year-old former prison built into the historic wall in Amberg, just 350 metres from the town hall square.

An amazing hotel with a truly unique concept — everything is designed to resemble a prison, and the execution is absolutely brilliant! The idea is creative and fun, and the attention to detail makes the experience unforgettable. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were tasty, and the location is excellent, making it easy to get around. This stay left a lasting impression on us, and we’ll definitely remember it for a long time.
