Birkende was a wonderful place to stay while I was in Denmark for a conference! Conny was so welcoming and hospitable. When my travel plans got upended and I came in a day late, tired, jet-lagged, and hungry, she met me on the property and prepared a fabulous lunch of coffee, juice, meats, cheeses, fruits, and breads for me (because I had missed breakfast). This thoughtful touch to ensure the comfort of her guest was so sincerely appreciated! The room was cozy and comfortable, with everything I needed during my stay. The breakfasts were delicious and prepared early, so I could eat before flitting off for full days at my conference. And the property is peaceful and simply stunning (including their gorgeous grapevines and koi pond). It is well situated for a short drive through the beautiful countryside to both Kerteminde and Odense. I couldn't have asked for anything more!

A magnificent place full of history and charm. Beautifully and sensitively decorated in an idyllic spot surrounded by nature but also close to Nyborg and motorway for onward travel. The breakfast was great. Lovely luxury toiletries in the bathroom. Marie was an excellent host. I really wish we could have stayed longer. Hopefully we can return soon!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kobmandsgaarden Kerteminde! The moment I arrived, I was impressed by the spotlessly clean environment that greeted me. My room was cozy and comfortable, with a huge bed that was perfect for a restful night's sleep. The common kitchen area was a great bonus, with everything I needed to prepare a meal or snack. And the self-serving bar was a lovely touch, with a wide selection of drinks and snacks available at any time. The toilet and shower facilities were immaculately clean and well-maintained, with plenty of hot water and fresh towels. What really stood out for me, though, was the easy check-in process. I was able to arrive at any time of day, which was a huge convenience for me. Overall, I would highly recommend Kobmandsgaarden Kerteminde to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and clean place to stay. I'll definitely be back! Thanks for a great stay!
