The Hotel Villa Gul is very well situated in the city (next to the water and the old city center). Upon our arrival, we could park our bikes at the hotel special bike parking. The room was comfortable, the bathroom very good (very new and aesthetic and bigger than an average bathroom on our trip). Wifi was also available, we could use the reception/lunch space to do a quick professional call, and the decoration was much to my taste. I would highly recommend the stay.

My favourite hotel while on Scandinavian tour. Hotel worth trying and staying more nights. Rooms may be smaller, basic but very comfortable and clean. Members of staff so professional and helpful tool.There is something special about this hotel creating very friendly atmosphere, which I would like to experience again and again.

A magnificent place full of history and charm. Beautifully and sensitively decorated in an idyllic spot surrounded by nature but also close to Nyborg and motorway for onward travel. The breakfast was great. Lovely luxury toiletries in the bathroom. Marie was an excellent host. I really wish we could have stayed longer. Hopefully we can return soon!

I didn't explore the village of Ørbæk much.

I didn't explore the village of Ørbæk much. I know there's places for gas, groceries, and a decent bakery. Also a place that serves burgers and kebab. I spent most of my time riding a bike on the old rail-line between Ringe and Korinth about half an hour to the west that has been converted into a multi-use nature path or relaxing in the peace and quiet of the B&B outside the village.
