The owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating and makes a lot of effort to make you feel at home. He shared with us the history of the place and showed us around. Everything was better than advertised, very comfortable and very stylish. A large group of other guests were present whilst we were there but it's a big place and we didn't really see them, though if you are more social than we are, there are shared spaces just for that. Really genuinely nice place, I will most certainly be visiting again with family or friends. (Also, they have concerts at certain times of the year, not whilst we were there, but it would be fun to see next time)

The location was beautiful and peaceful. The lake view is just lovely. Private terrace with garden furniture. The place was comfortable and well equipped. Well placed to visit sights on the north west coast.
