This is just a wonderful older hotel and in contrast the staff is very young, very helpful and very charming. I enjoyed them so much. The bed was very huge and comfortable and the room matched the size. A very nice breakfast was also included. It was just a few steps from the beautiful Central Park. There were plenty of good restaurants to choose from within a block or two.

Great night life vibe for all ages in Banos. A great choice of Cafes and restaurants. There was always someone that could speak English if required. The hotel ordered a private taxi to take me to all the tourist spots which was extremely cheap for a days outing and very informative. I was able to walk from my hotel to the township. If you are sporty there is everything there for you. Felt very safe.

Baños was a super cool experience for my birthday. The Pailon del Diablo was the best. The restaurants at the bottom were spectacular! The places in town had local art for sale and great coffee shops etc for tourists. Cute place to spend a few days.

Baños is amazing.
Baños is amazing. It is a little international hub in the middle of the Andes, almost close to the Amazon. I love that the weather is always nice and humid. People here know tourists, and their aim is for you to explore the city. If you are traveling here, having a car makes things way easier because activities are far away. My best tips would be, to make sure the activities you are doing are safe, always pack a swimsuit and try out the food.

Banos is an absolutely amazing city with so much adventure and extreme sports that await. The clubs and bars are filled with awesome people. My favorite part was the kindness and helpfulness of the locals. Met some amazing friends, whom I will for sure be returning to. My heart is in Banos.

Banos is amazing and a real must do for adventure and adrenaline seekers! It's a small touristy town, lots of places to eat, drink or book adventure activities and very easy to get around. There are 2 hot springs to relax your sore muscles too.

So much to do in and around this town. The weekends are pretty noisy with restaurants and bars downtown with loud music. But during the week it seems very quiet. Biking down to the waterfalls is a nice way to see the outskirts of the town and experience the tourist attractions. A nice hike up Sendero La Virgen made for an amazing view of the town. The thermal pools of La Virgen are great to experience right after 6pm, when the the pools have been emptied, cleaned and refilled.

It’s located on the edge of town which allows for the best views of any of the hotels in Banos. Totally walkable to everything. The daily breakfasts on the balcony overlooking the view was a magical start of the day. The beds were incredibly comfortable with toasty bedding.

Gorgeous, secluded location just outside of Banos. The guest house was built lovingly by a couple originally from Germany. Their two sons now help them run the place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Finca Chamanapamba and would highly recommend it as a place to chill and get in touch with nature.
