Could not recommend this hostel enough!! I've stayed at other Viajeros but this one is the best by far Super safe, clean, and social with a vibey garden and chill area. For me the most important thing when travelling is the people, and the people at this hostel have been some of the kindest I've met. The owner, Michelle has a huge heart and is always helping everyone (and every animal!) around her. When I was there, she helped rescue an abandoned puppy. Also the volunteers and staff Kate, Emilia, Christi, Jaqui, Alex, Elisabeth, Estafani, Brian, Nati (and more that I didn't meet) were super friendly and helpful. Would give more stars if I could.

Casa Santa Clara exceeded every expectation. Tucked in the heart of Quito's historic center, this beautifully designed, family-run boutique hotel gets every detail right — but what truly sets it apart is the people. Belen at the front desk welcomed us each day with such warmth and genuine care that returning to the hotel felt like coming home. Chef Anthony's food was a highlight of our entire stay in Ecuador. You can feel the owner's passion and investment in every corner of this property — the design, the atmosphere, the service, all impeccably curated. We've stayed in boutique hotels around the world, and this is one of the very best. An absolute must if you're visiting Quito. We can't wait to return.
