Ademuz is a difficult place to visit with a car.
Ademuz is a difficult place to visit with a car. The streets are very narrow and the turns are tight. Nor are there many places to park. This is also typical of several other nearby towns such as Castielfabib. So it is best to visit this area in cool weather when walking is easier. There is not a lot to see in Ademuz. Hiking seems to be the preferred activity.

Great place to stay for hiking enthusiasts. Variety of trails, most of them along rivers, with some panoramic views as well. The town itself is well worth a visit as well; you can feel the history still being preserved in its narrow streets.

Ademuz is on the cusp between charmingly old and falling into decline. Very narrow streets and very steep. People here must be very fit and excellent drivers. Few bars or eating places when we stayed in March. Bar in main street was typical local meeting place. Great walks, views etc. Lovely scenic area, especially coming up from Valencia.

From $49 per nightAna was a wonderful host. Nothing was too much trouble. The building is full of rustic charm and very central in the village. The breakfast, featuring local products like apple juice, was copious. The water jet bath in the room a great way to relax after coming back from one of the many hiking trails that criss-cross the Ademuz province. If we ever found ourselves back in Ademuz Ana's place would be our choice every time.
