It's a beautiful town, with lots of places to eat, drink,...

It's a beautiful town, with lots of places to eat, drink, cruise around by foot. Above all, safe for everyone! I recommend Vita Vino, good wine, excelent food and courteous personal and in a good location. I found interesting knowing the origen and process of the Iberic Ham, so, I recomend the Ham's Museum. It gives you a complete visual information and a full video with important information.

Beautiful traditional white washed Spanish town.

Beautiful traditional white washed Spanish town. We walked up to the castle but it was closed (siesta time). We enjoyed strolling around the area. A couple of the bars that we had checked out before arriving were closed. Perhaps it was because it is August and therefore closed for the month. We enjoyed a late lunch of traditional tapa dishes and a cold beer on a very hot day.

As stated, having stayed there even solo in the past, was a bit disappointed that the twin room was so tight. Fantastic staff more than compensated but I think as a former client, a little bit of speciality would have gone a long way. Still LOVE the place, so special.

We enjoyed the trip on the little train round the city...

We enjoyed the trip on the little train round the city centre. We also loved the Gruta (caves/grotto) and castle and grounds. Very easy to walk around, everything is within10-15 minutes walking distance. The walk up to the castle may be a little steep for some people but take your time and you will be ok.

Loved that all the buildings were white washed and of uniform size. No carbuncles. Only spoilt by a massive Barcelo Hotel dominating one of the hills. The person allowing it to be built there should be shot or at least give his back-hander back..... It is a must to visit the Caves and the Castle/Church. Entrance price very reasonable. A lot to choose from when deciding where to eat. A lot of places however were very unfriendly to you if you had dogs with you.

Great little town.

Great little town. Famous caves are well worth a visit plus the Castillo. Lots of excellent Restaurants/Bars. The surrounding countryside is the main reason we visited the area and we were not disappointed. Did two amazing hikes, fantastic!

A two night stay. I had my own car. I stayed at Aracena to use it as the base for visiting the Rio Tinto mine areas, a drive of approximately 20 minutes to the south of Aracena, and I made that mine visit. I also was able to visit the very good Aracena limestone caves, which is right in town. The hotel is right in town, was good and comfortable and I was able to walk around a very pretty town.

Hidden Gem in the outskirts of the beautiful area of Aracena. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a very good bath/ shower. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The best bit was the facilities for tea or coffee at the reception area. Very welcoming and friendly reception staff.

Great view over Aracena. Nice pool and garden with sunbeds. Comfortable room. Very good restaurant. Try the Iberico Pulled Pork Burger 😁 Good base for hiking in the Sierra around Aracena.
