This was our 7th visit to Arrieta.

This was our 7th visit to Arrieta. We like the location and bus service to surrounding villages and places of interest. Plenty coffee shops and good small supermarkets. Also lovely beach and coastal paths for walking.

Arrieta was a peaceful place to stay, but with good access to the whole island, the mountainous inland parts and the coastline too. There were places to eat out locally and a well stocked supermarket.

Arrieta is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Very quiet.

Arrieta is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Very quiet. All the restaurants I can recommend, especially of course, for fish. It is easy to get around. It is not for young couples if you are looking for activities.

Arrieta is lovely unspoilt spot with good beach & lovely walk to Punte Mujeres along the seafront to enjoy the natural swimming pools. There is a good cafe for coffee & breakfast & a good beach bar. There are a handful of good fish restaurants but most of these were closed in the evenings which was disappointing. We missed being able to wander out in the evenings for a drink watching the world go by, however this was preferable to being in one of the purpose built tourist traps which Arrieta definitely is not. Fortunately the restaurant near the apartment did open 5/7 evenings.

Arrieta is a quiet town.

Arrieta is a quiet town. Beautiful Beach Easy to walk around Very clean and local shops and restaurants very kind and helpful. Lovely coffee and croissants at Pastelerio El Verodero for dinner we went to restaurante Amanerca and there is a lovely Pizza place. Would recommend the town to anyone wanting a quiet break

Two things really annoyed us.

Two things really annoyed us. The property was described as having one twin room and one double. It didn’t! Just two rooms with single beds. Also one of the bedroom doors was so badly hung it couldn’t be closed without a huge effort and and a great deal of noise. I also think if you provide a coffee maker then you should also provide the pods to go in it.

My stay at Villa Turqué was perfect. The house is lovely and spacious with the most amazing outside area, waking up to the sound of the ocean is very special! The saltwater pool and the comfortable deck chairs made for a very relaxing trip with a stunning view of the ocean. The kitchen has everything you need to cook but there are options to eat out in Arrieta or Punta Mujeres if you wish. There are natural pool about a 5/10 minute walk from the villa and arrieta beach is also 10/15 minutes walk away. Would highly recommend!
