Benicassim seems to be destination for local Spanish...
Benicassim seems to be destination for local Spanish tourists. Every is fantastic, genuine. Of course - as no one speaks English, its not easy to find your way and have dinner. But once you manage to "survive" - everything is so good: the food, the drinks, local stores, streets, beaches. It's not overcrowded tourist destination but fantastic Spanish townMario - Scored 1010

It's a small/ medium sized town with sprawling beaches and all the conveniences of a larger city - bars, restaurants, shops ( I bought a great dress from a shop on the beach - Secretos de India!), cinema, sports center with a pool, kids playground (some on the beaches themselves), art and cultural exhibitions, a bit of history (old tower on the beach). The beaches themselves are very nice ( traveling with a small kid and a baby). The setting is very picturesque as well - mountains in the back and fantastic coastline. Restaurants we liked include: Da Mirko (pizza), nou cafe (large salds, sandwiches and french fries). Anywhere in Spain - ask for boquerones - small fish in olive oil. If you can;t find it in a restaurant, the larger supermarkets sell them as well for a bit over 1 euro.ElenaBulgaria - Scored 2.02.0
The apt was clean!
The apt was clean! We had to pick up our key over 10 km from the hotel. Towels were NOT provided! Most importantly travellers need Wifi and there was none! This hotel was fine to sleep in - not good value for the surface!ManassisCanada - Scored 1010
We loved Benicassim.
We loved Benicassim. Plenty of places to visit nearby either by public transport, taxi, bike or car. The beach at Benicassim is sandy, wide and goes on forever. It is raked over every day and the pavements are clean and wide. Plenty of places to eat and drink, or just sit and enjoy the sunset/sunrise. Residents are kind and helpful, all making for a very enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful time, we went to Rototom Reggae Festival...
We had a wonderful time, we went to Rototom Reggae Festival 2022 that was amazing. Danced, sang ate good food all night at Rototom, had lazy days on the beautiful beaches to recharge. What more do you need. The hotel is ideally located for this event, Taxi were a big problem. You need to get to know the bus routes fast, but we travelled in an around Benicassim on the Rototom buses and they did work as planned. Benicassim is a beautiful town the beaches are amazing, maybe if you can hire a car locally and its not to expensive, I think it would be a good idea. BEACHES BEACHES BEACHES, Just beautiful. Local supermarket have a wonderful selection of foods, very easy to shop. Getting from our hotel to Benicassim to get a train back to Valencia was a nightmare and we waited 40min+, once we arrived at the station it was a breeze to get to Valencia,. Trains to and from Airport to Valencia to Benicassim, Easy. Unfortunately the Tapas did look good but the language barrier, (ie) I don't speak Spanish and little English spoke locally but we got by.

I loved the week market done good deals. It is very getting around Benicàssim on foot from hotel to center 15 min the beach less than 5 minutes from the hotel. I was very excited about the Moroccan Restaurant unfortunately it was closed. So we went to the Taj mahal unfortunately Another disappointment there were no Indian food only kabab and chicken burger There was a menu of Indian food chicken curry chicken biriani but no they don't have it. Why do you have it on the menu? My wife and big doughter left the establishment I and my youngest daughter stayed for a Hamburger.AAK SIXTHNetherlands

Very easy parking and a lovely breakfast helped make it an easy stopover. There are some nice restaurants on the beach and it's a 25 minute walk to the old town, but highly recommended for the lovely tapas bars.
