Calpe (Calp) itself is quieter than Benidorm.
Calpe (Calp) itself is quieter than Benidorm. There’s a great food market that is open daily. The town itself has numerous supermarkets and shops which are not just tourist focussed (which is a good thing). The main beaches have the usual touristy shops and bars/restaurants. If you stay outside Calp itself you can have a quiet neighbourhood feel (and still be 10 mins drive to Calp itself).

Calpe has everything you need for a good holiday.
Calpe has everything you need for a good holiday. A lovely beach, historic Old Town, great bars and restaurants and a good choice of shops. We ate in a variety of restaurants, food was excellent and prices varied according to the menu. We stayed in early June, there was only a life guard on the beach at the weekend. The lady in the tourist office in the old town was very informative. Easily accessible from Benidorm by bus. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely resort. Good beaches with fine sand and clear water.
Lovely resort. Good beaches with fine sand and clear water. Nice cliff walks with wonderful scenery. Plenty of restaurants to choose from with very reasonable prices. Good connection to other resorts for day trips mainly by train or local bus.
Went to climb the rock and only went half way as found the rocks were slippery and as mentioned you do need walking boots and not just trainers as we tried to do.

Calpe was lovely, plenty of bars and restaurants.
Calpe was lovely, plenty of bars and restaurants. We had our Maltese pooch with us and he was made very welcome.
Plenty of lovely walks around, beautiful scenery, you need good comfortable shoes. We stayed in the Old Town, this was interesting and pretty. Shout out to a fabulous restaurant: El Santo in the old town, made us very welcome and lovely food. We found Calpe to be extremely clean and friendly. :)
We have just come back from hotel Porto calpe our room was fantastic so big extremely comfy .clean and what a great location staff were so helpfull .restaurant on your doorstep too.the only down fall is that it says mini bar but it's empty you have to fill it yourself .I alway have a full bar when it states that...but it wouldn't stop me booking again... keep up the good work
we are very familiar with the Calpe location as our family have been coming here for many years. This villa is close to where we used to stay. It is therefore very near all the facilities we are used to - which is very important as we are bringing the next generation of young grandchildren with us - they particularly loved the pool !
situated just outside of Calpe town, we have been here before for a meal and drinks but never stayed.
As our first time staying here I can say that it was absolutely beautiful, the staff couldn’t do enough for us and the food is always fantastic. we will definitely be going back here as Calpe is our favourite place in Spain to stay.
Great apartment for a family of 4 - lovely views, clean, air conditioning, has everything we needed. Good pool and not too busy when we were there.
We like the location as it’s in between Altea and Calpe and are familiar with the area - you do need to drive to get about.
Location is the best in Calpe, right by a hidden beach and close to the beautiful promenade with best restaurants in Calpe! Awesome terrace with views for breakfast, sunbathing and evening reading
