It was the last night on my bicycle journey from Huelva to Gijon and it was perfect. I was almost alone in the whole building, I had hot water and silence! I didn't have a sleeping bag with me, so the hostess gave me a one-time bed linen — perfect! A good restaurant Casa Ezequiel is nearby, though not easily accessible by foot.

7 of us spent 2 nights at Bicis & Vacas. It is the second time we've stayed. The service and hospitality from Beni and Paulina (and all staff) was exceptional and the dinners some of the best on our trip. Breakfast is also varied and plentiful. Secure parking available for motorcycles at no added cost. Beni also recommended some excellent riding routes.

This stay was a little piece of heaven for us… we had a very long day walking the Camino and we were a little worried if this would be worth the extra km of walking. We were a little late getting there but were met by the owner and felt instantly at home and comfortable. The hotel made us feel like the royalty that used to live there! We enjoyed hot showers and the comfortable rooms and beds. I can imagine in the busy season the outdoor bar overlooking the apple trees would have been the place to unwind. The breakfast was wonderful and it provided us with renewed energy and fuel to continue our Camino. We were grateful for our gracious Irish host Carol ,who spoke English and offered advice for the next days of walking.

Organized and clean hotel with a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast good and included a great fresh Spanish omelette when I was there. Staff was friendly and helpful. If hiking San Salvador, it’s on the Camino as you exit the Polo de Gordon making it easy leaving. Grateful pilgrim.
