This is a wonderful hotel. The staff is very attentive and the rooms are comfortable, very clean and quiet. The pool and terrace looked lovely but it was chilly and we did not use them. Highly recommended.

A comfortable hotel in the countryside near Comillas with a large swimming pool and gardens to relax in. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant - the hake with a saffron sauce was recommended and didn't disappoint. Unrelated to the hotel, we loved El Capricho de Gaudi in Comillas. We booked on-line and paid for an excellent guided tour in English which at only 3€ extra was an absolute bargain.

It's a very picturesque, rural, and beautiful village with lovely houses. It's close to Comillas and Santillana del Mar, the wildlife zoo, and the waterfalls of the river that flows into the Cantabrian Sea, with its very high cliffs.

An excellent location for relaxing, strolling amidst nature between the sea and evergreen hills. The adjacent beach is perfect for relaxing by the sea, with all amenities close by. A great base for visiting nearby coastal towns.

A pretty, pleasant, and peaceful town with plenty to see besides the beach. The only downside is the limited selection of restaurants. You can explore many places from the town itself. Honestly, it's worth a visit, and the tranquility is a major plus.

Small beach but not crowded.

Small beach but not crowded. I think it's great that dogs can enjoy this beach, but the lack of respect shown by many owners who don't pick up after their dogs is unforgivable. It's close to many towns with great tourist interest, such as Santillana del Mar and Comillas.

A very pretty little town, and Luaña beach is wonderful.

A very pretty little town, and Luaña beach is wonderful. We had jellyfish for two days, but they disappeared as quickly as they appeared. There aren't many shops, but there are options nearby, about 10 minutes away. We stayed at the Hotel Sanmar, which has its reception exit right on the beach. You step out onto the sand and there's a restaurant with good food. There are also plenty of other things to see. We'll definitely be back.

It's a very peaceful place, and nearby there are many places to visit: Comillas, San Vicente de la Barquera, Santillana del Mar, Torrelavega, Suances, and many more. The scenery is spectacular, and the food is excellent. Luaña beach is very close, and the water temperature is perfect.

get a room with a view. buy some bits from the supermarket on the way. enjoy a perfect beach experience with great hosts and a spectacular location. the sea is quite shallow and ideal for kids. with some nice waves further out for the surf school youngsters. Out of 10 hotels on our coastal tour, this was our favourite.

The family run hotel is in a perfect location right on the beach. With wonderful views from some of the bedrooms. But not all and ours was one without a view. The food in the restaurant was beautiful and well cooked but be careful if you're staying on a Tuesday because the restaurant does not open.
