Located in El Puerto de Santa María city center and only 5 minutes’ drive from El Buzo and Valdelagrana beaches, Chaikana features spacious rooms with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi These heated... Breakfast was a buffet of a variety of foods, including different kinds of cereal, breads, croissants, cheeses, meats, etc. It was certainly worth the 5 euro charge. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff (especially the gentleman at the reception desk during the day) were very pleasant and very helpful. The hotel is on a narrow one way street that is nevertheless okay to navigate in a small vehicle like our rental car (a Kia), There is a spot opposite the door for one to park for 15 minutes, and a parkade building a couple of minutes' walk away were parking can be secured for less than 10 euros per 24 hours. Restaurants and clubs and shops are easily reached by walking from the hotel.
The Puerta del Algadir hotel has practical and well-equipped rooms, and is located near the coastal town of El Puerto de Santa Maria, in Andalusia. It is ideal for a sun-filled holiday near the beach.... Very quiet, well situated to visit Cádiz and all the surrounding area. The room was spacious, comfortable beds. Breakfast is possible at the coffee/restaurant. It has a lot of parking space. Easy to find.
Puertobahia & SPA is located right on Valdelagrana Beach, in El Puerto de Santa María. It has free WiFi, an outdoor swimming pool and spa. Rooms have balconies with a table and 2 chairs as well as a drying rack which was excellent. We paid for the sea view and were not disappointed. Bed was comfortable, bathroom with nice walk in shower. Breakfast was more than adequate (eggs, different types of bread, cold cuts, fresh fruits and youghurts) although the coffee was really bad!!! Lunch and dinner are buffet, there is very everyone something. Not expensive. Swimming pool is amidst a beautiful lawn and garden. There are no beach towels so bring your own. The minigolf was closed for renovation. The beach is across the street, sand beach with several beach bars as well as beach showers available. The natural parque is only 3 km away towards Cadiz..
Located in the historic center of El Puerto de Santa María, on the banks of Guadalete River, Soho Boutique Puerto features a rooftop pool with views over the city. My husband and our 7 month old stayed here for one night. The hotel was very nice and clean! The beds were large and comfortable. The hotel is right across the street from a ferry that goes to Cadiz and only cost us 5 euros. The hotel also has a nice rooftop pool that overlooks the port. Our room had a fantastic view of the port. There are refrigerators in the room and the staff puts complimentary water in the rooms. Lastly, there was plenty of free parking on the side of the road near the hotel.
Apartamentos los Cantaros is located in El Puerto de Santa María. Free WiFi is available. It offers access to a sun terrace and fitness center. The apartment is really spacious. We had plenty of space for cooking and sitting around the table as family, also really enjoyed chilling out on the patio. The apartment is right in the town center, with lots of restaurants and bars around, a boat terminal to go to Cadiz (which we really enjoyed), and a bus stop to go to the beach. Everything was just so easy.
Bodega Real is a converted winery in El Puerto de Santa María. It has a beautiful Andalusian central courtyard and offers elegant rooms with TV. Free WiFi is available in public areas. The location is fantastic. The front desk attendants were very nice.
Set in a noble house from the 17th century, Casa del Regidor is located on the river bank in El Puerto de Santa Maria. Lovely friendly family hotel in restored historic house close to the historic town's sites and the numerous good, friendly bars and restaurants. All El Puerto de Santa Maria's main historic sites are within a short walking distance, and a day's exploring the town is rewarding. The hotel has town maps leaflets for most of the sites, and can provide the information you need. The hotel is close (5 minutes) to the rail station with regular trains to Jerez, Cadiz and Seville and the ferry to Cadiz. It is an ideal place for exploring this area of Andalucia. There is inexpensive car parking close to the hotel. We used the town as a base to spend two days at the Jerez Horse Fair as most of Jerez's hotels were full or very expensive. The rail journey to Jerez is under 10 minutes and there are buses from the rail station to the feria.
Los Cantaros is in the city center of El Puerto de Santa María. All rooms have free Wi-Fi, soundproofing and a balcony. The hotel is set just 6.2 miles from Cadiz. Jerez Airport is within 13 miles. Easy parking around the corner - many restaurants in the immediate area.
Located in a quiet area of Puerto de Santa María, this family-run hotel features gardens with 3 outdoor swimming pools. Its air-conditioned rooms have free Wi-Fi and a fridge. The location is great. Two minutes from the beach and closed enough from town.
Found in this picturesque town that lies at the heart of the Cadiz Bay area, this hotel offers a unique location within an exclusive residential area; ideal for a quiet and restful holiday. There was very little not to like. It could do with a little tlc but it´s a beautiful hotel.
Located in El Puerto de Santa María, Hotel Sur Utopia offers free WiFi. It is within 0.6 mi of the nearest beaches and Sherry Port. Good location to visit Cádiz and the southern sites, good breakfast included.
Located a 15-minute walk from the center of Puerto de Santa María, Del Mar Hotel offers a spa and air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Some rooms include a balcony. Breakfast was good, although I wish we could have had some cooked food instead of a continental...

So much history and so much to see. Being an American and having the mentality of, " GO GO GO!" It's hard to adjust to the relaxed and laid back mentality of Spain. Once you do, you learn to begin to go with the flow.
Probably not the best spot for those requiring a busy nightlife, but a lovely place to visit with children. (We went there specifically because a family member is working in the area.) Temperatures are more moderate than elsewhere in Spain, so it suited us perfectly. We would return
Not much to do unless you go to roast at the beach or pool. Lovely surroundings and old town. Once you go around and check things out it more about chilling. The seemed to be a large park for trekking and bike rides. We didnt go.
I absolutely loved El Puerto de Santa Maria. The beaches were stunning and tranquil while still being tourist friendly. The locals were incredibly kind and understanding as I stumbled through my subpar Spanish. The city is easily walkable and Cadiz is only 15 minutes away via taxi. I would highly recommend El Puerto de Santa Maria for long weekend trips or just to escape life for awhile.
It was ideal as a base for sightseeing in Cadiz travelling on the catamaran. Also sightseeing in Jerez de la Frontera and Seville by train. It is very peaceful and great for walking about. The estuary and coast are within easy walking distance. There are also plenty of buses for getting around. You must be prepared for a Sunday as most of El Puerto de Santa Maria is shut.
There are many shops, restaurants and bars surrounding the hotel. So you don't have to travel far to enjoy the culture of Spain. I loved spending a quite evening in the hotel bar, good drinks and relaxed atmosphere. The hours are very different from the states. Breakfast is usually from 0900-1100, Lunch from 1130-1300, Dinner is 2030-0000. And everything is very slow, meals are for enjoying conversation and family. No rushing. But completely worth it.
Very friendly receptionists!!! Took their time to explain and show everything at the map. Had some difficulties with English, but compared to some of their peers they rock! Location is comforting: close to the stations and most sightseeing. But getting to the beach will take some time though. Overall clean, neat and fresh. Definitely recommended!
Great location in the old quarter and a short walk to the Cádiz ferry. A small hotel with a big personality - each room is decorated lovingly with individual style and the common areas with delightful flair. The kitchen area provides all-day facilities for guests to make tea and coffee - a rare option in Spain.
The hotel is lovely, clean, the owners very polite, there is a parking on the front and very nice restaurant with limited menu (mostly pizza and spagetti). It takes about 25-30 minutes walk from the hotel to the centre of el Puerto de Santa Maria.
The service, welcoming staff, to be given the opportunity to cancel our second night free of charge due to the lockdown of the country, comfort of the room, large room and large balcony on the quiet side of the hotel.
Friendly and helpful personnel, central location, cheaper parking negotiated by hotel, good house made breakfast. Hotel is surrounded by several bars and restaurants.
Location in quiet and nice area. 2 minutes walk to good sandy beach. Good breakfast. Plenty of hot water. It's actually a hotel, not hostel.
A beautiful property with large comfortable rooms. Loved the cabana by the pool. Food was delicious. The hotel has a very nice flowery aroma.
Cleanliness of the rooms and of the hotel in general. The swimming pool and the breakfast. The beautiful beach in front of the hotel.
A hotel with history, well ubicated and with good service.
Awesome hotel with very friendly staff.
The staff was helpful and friendly and the complimentary service car was a lovely bonus! We enjoyed our driver very much and will be back soon! Muchas gracias
We loved the quality and location of the property. Lovely restaurants on a beautiful setting. Took the ferry across to Cadiz.
It was peaceful, beautiful and cosy.
