Great place for a family getaway. Great rooms with separate bedrooms if you are traveling with children, on-site restaurant and bar (if you are too tired or lazy to venture into town by car (a few minutes away)), on-site swimming pools (during the warm months), and what turned out to be a total win was an indoor playground for the kids (when the weather is bad). The restaurant's menu is focused on locally farmed Spanish meats so if your vegan/vegetarian, your options may be limited, but if you like your steak and jamon, this is heaven.

This pleasant and practical hotel is located in the Ciudad Rodrigo in the Castile & León region of southern Spain, only 984 feet from the historical center of the town.

The apartment is in a great location within the old city walls. You can accesss the city walls directly from a door from the living room. We were not expecting complementary cake, beer and breakfast rolls which was a generous gesture. Our host gave comprehensive instructions for our arrival, met us soon afterwards and couldn't have been more helpful. There was secure parking for our motorcycles under the apartment. Great value for money.
