It is a grand old building. Staff were helpful. We were able to leave our luggage for the day after checking out.

Amazing view from spacious room, super quiet (no noise from other guests), and comfy beds! Also very new (looks like its recently renovated).

Very friendly staff with very good english which was a bonus. Only 10 mins from the port of Bilboa.Big choice of continental breakfast. Very clean.

Easy to park on the street nearby. Was convenient when arriving by car but nothing much around. 15 minutes drive into the city for everything you could need. Room was large, comfortable and clean. Shower had excellent water pressure. I liked the view over the working port but maybe this is not for everyone.

Loved the sea views and location close to the beach. Excellent shower & powerful hairdryer. Comfy beds & good, clean linen. The food, coffee and bar were great, lovely relaxed atmosphere. Best of all - wonderful staff.

Top notch hotel in an old castle up on cliffs. Excellent attention to detail. Great price for 5 star luxury. Getxo is an absolutely charming town.

The room though it’s really good property because they did lots of renovations and improvements. So close in the beach nice view. Receptionist were so good

Bright, spacious with restaurant, bar and vending machines should you require them.rooms of a good size, clean and bright with very comfortable beds.Fantastic that it’s pet friendly. Our twin Schnauzers celebrated their 2nd birthday there. What a great memory

The romantic feel of the view, how they managed to keep it old school, yet clean and new. The marble staircase and wooden slides, the big room with comfy bed and nice bathroom. Staff nice and accommodating. You can have a drink in the premises. The price is ok, regarding high seasons and the wxorbitant prices in Bilbao and around.

Very nice hotel and good value for money. We were just unlucky to stay the night during Labour Day eve, so it was extremely noisy for us. Otherwise its nicely located and the views of the river are very nie.

Lovely small hotel! Great interior, comfortable, clean rooms. A little away from Bilbao centre but worth the money! Also has free parking. Recommend!

Staff were absolutely excellent especially Ekaitz on reception so professional and lots of knowledge of the sea also It’s near the ferry port and also yards from the beach/sea ideal for dogs ….. it has a bar/restaurant right next door ….. 5*****

Charming room, big enough, beautiful decor, lots of toilet products. Delicious breakfast, excellent restaurant. Everything LOVELY!

Very good location, the hotel is near to the airport but located in a peaceful town. Only a few kilometers to the city center. There are few restaurants nearby. And hotel also has its own restaurant on ground floor. The receptionist is also very kind and helpful.

Breakfast and lunch were delicious and beautifully presented. Lovely elegant period house with spacious rooms and a wonderful setting. Staff were very helpful allowing an early check in without fuss, arranging taxis etc. Hope to return in the future.

Location, very easy by cable car get into central. Also the walking track is very picturesque
