An earlier part of the family trip had been stressful, and this little place was welcoming and its traditional charm with the wooden beams, lovely old rooms and the small balconies with the swallows flying in and out to their nests, and sometimes a cat on the street were so peaceful. When my granddaughter and I went hungrily to the café by the cathedral food had stopped. But they made us potatoes and mayonnaise. The home owners are so kind too. It is really relaxing and peaceful. A favourite place. Lovely walks by the river.

The location has a lovely rural feel while still being conveniently close to the motorway, making it an easy stopover. Friendly and helpful staff throughout. One of the biggest pluses is having a café, bar, and restaurant all on-site, meaning you can settle in and enjoy everything you need without having to venture back out. A comfortable and practical choice that I'd happily recommend.
