I have visited over 100 countries and stayed at countless hotels and Airbnbs. This property quite possibly was the best place I have ever slept in. It is awesome if you are looking for a romantic retreat. The interior decoration is simply fantastic---world class. We were awestruck by the furnishings, design, the wood beams, the paintings, the attention to detail, everything. The two women we interacted with at reception were very engaged and extremely intelligent. You can also go for short strolls to villages nearby in a rural area.

Palacio Soran is situated in Leintz-Gatzaga, within 80 metres of Ecomuseo de la Sal and 21 km of Fernando Buesa Arena. This 2-star hotel offers a shared kitchen, a shared lounge and free WiFi.

We had a wonderful 4‑night stay at Palacio Soran. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the authenticity and beauty of this house that offers a perfect blend of historic and modern style. Our upgraded room was spacious, spotless, airy, and full of restored historic details that gave it real character. The hotel and the village are incredibly peaceful — perfect for relaxing after visiting Bilbao, San Sebastián or Vitoria‑Gasteiz. The location is ideal for nature lovers, with all major attractions reachable within one hour.

Located in the residential neighborhood of Lakua and with easy access to the city center, since the tram stop is in front of the hotel and at the exit of the city due to its proximity to the highway.

This stay was part of a last minute trip through the nearby airport, where prices were better than from other airports. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the bus station and a nice 2 hour Sunday morning walk to the airport. In February 2024, I could stay for EUR 55, whereas the comfort provided is a class higher than what I usually book. The wifi was good, as were the other facilities. I especially liked being able to adjust the shower to my height (I am tall).

The beautifully-restored, 16th-century Hotel Palacio de Elorriaga is a 20-minute walk from central Vitoria-Gasteiz. It is surrounded by gardens and offers free Wi-Fi.

This palacio was really a nice discovery. All areas are much more beautiful then on pictures. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was polite and helpful. We also had an offer of getting 8 course dinner for 55 euro at the place but we already made reservation at the other place. All in all we were delighted with our stay at this hotel.

The apartment is well located; just a short walk to the old town, cathedral, and museums, etc.. The host met us, made sure we could park in the space provided, gave us tips for our visit, and gave great communication.
