Wonderful accommodation! Very spacious. Really well designed and restored with lots of character. We loved staying here even though it is quite far away from many facilities. We loved the remoteness - the village is so sweet (my young son brought his bike and cycling around the little village where people were so friendly to him). The landscape surrounding the village is incredible. We arrived late at night and did not need dinner, but you would need to plan in advance if you did because there was no shops or restaurant open (there was in another nearby town). I think you can arrange dinner through the hotel though. Owners very friendly. We stayed here as we were driving from Barcelona/Costa Brava to Madrid via Montserrat and wanted an interesting and affordable place to stay. Highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay!

An earlier part of the family trip had been stressful, and this little place was welcoming and its traditional charm with the wooden beams, lovely old rooms and the small balconies with the swallows flying in and out to their nests, and sometimes a cat on the street were so peaceful. When my granddaughter and I went hungrily to the café by the cathedral food had stopped. But they made us potatoes and mayonnaise. The home owners are so kind too. It is really relaxing and peaceful. A favourite place. Lovely walks by the river.

We stayed on Saturday so we met most of the villagers since the bar was a great meeting place for all. We don't speak Spanish but the staff excused us and made every effort to communicate. We will be back.

It is very quiet here in May. There is a bar and a parking lot nearby. The town is antique, with narrow streets and many streams flowing through the town, creating a mystical atmosphere that makes you want to explore. There are many attractions within short distances by car.
