Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Mojacar is a medieval Moorish, town in the Spanish Province of Almería. This white-walled destination, which is situated on a rocky hillside at the foot of the Sierra de Cabrera, will surprise you with its natural beauty and unique architecture.   

Rich in history and cultural heritage, Mojacar has been populated since the 2000 BC by Moors, Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians and Romans. Today, it is a maze of narrow streets with local shops, street markets and restaurants serving traditional dishes like the ancient 'gachas'.

Travellers can park their car and explore the old town of this beautiful resort on foot.  Home to 17 km of Blue Flag sandy beaches like Granatilla, the Playa de los Genoveses and the Playa de Monsul, the modern part of this coastal resort is an ideal place to enjoy outdoor activities like swimming, sailing and surfing. Golf lovers can visit the 18-hole courses of the Marina Golf and Desert Springs.

Beautiful old town up on the hill, the views are stunning the beach front is long with quieter and busier parts, lots of places to eat and drink. Some parts of the beach were shingle but in the most sandy and the sea was perfect, beds on the beach I found to be expensive, a great place to visit for a couple of days. The bus service was excellent.

What a beautiful place, will definitely be back to Mojacar, friendly, clean, lots of amenities, very kind, helpful people who welcome you to share their beautiful place. Gaston is a great coffee shop with great staff, Consum a great well stocked supermarket Sotto Casa, Ilario Imperial two amazing restaurants with brilliant staff, a brilliant bus service both for local and further traveling

Mojacar like Mijas has old town up in the mountains ,good wide beach with ample choice of bars and restaurants Fairly noisy and busling bars late evening Too many gastro and tapas bar with plastic plates and ready made dishes,a menu with Spanish,Italian,Mexican and Indian is a real turn off

A stunning location with a great vibe and lots to do. A busy or relaxing place depending on what you want to get out of it. Amazing places to eat out especially The Torre Bahia and Tito’s. Beaches are stunning and the whole place is immaculate.

We visit the same five restaurants regularly and find they cater for our needs very well . We have a rappour with the owners of one and with staff in others. Mojacar has a large choice of bars , restaurants and clubs that cater for everyone and live music is available .

Greeting at hotel was very good...nice and welcoming. Location of hotel pretty good - right on the beach & we had a room with balcony overlooking the beach and sun rise! The hotel was close to restaurants and cafes, and about 3 miles from Mojacar Town. Beach is fairly stoney but OK. Hotel room was very good ..spotlessly clean and tidy as was the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent...fab choice. Great value for money!!! Pool was in front of the hotel but we didn't use it as it. Most of the staff were very friendly

The position of the hotel is ideal. The staff were welcoming at reception, in the shops at the bar and in the restaurant. The accommodation had everything needed including a kettle.. so I could make my cuppa in the morning and at night. Just a great feel. The food was great. Buses outside will take you to Mojaca Pueblo in the hills (beautiful) for 1.20€ each way linea 1 . And to the harbour town of Garrucha for 1.50€ each way linea 2. Great places to visit.

The information provided by the host allowed us to park our car and reach the apartment easily. Eddy was very kind and made sure to provide us with all the information, and a bottle of water in the fridge which was a life-saver when we arrived. The breakfast was amazing. The hotel is in an old house in the old town of Mojacar, so don't expect modern ambients, and actually this is what made our short stay amazing

Fantastic location. The hosts was so welcoming . The room was spotless lovely comfy bed. Breakfast was fresh and a great choice. Coffee is the best I've had. I would not stay anywhere else when I vist Mojacar Pueblo again . I have worked in the travel industry for more than 30 years and this place is one of my top hotels
