This hotel is perfect for families with young children — our 2-year-old daughter absolutely loved the water games and slides, they were fantastic! The playground was also very well-equipped. The beach is just a 2-minute walk away, across a single crosswalk — beautiful, sandy, and easy to reach. The food was excellent, with a wide and satisfying selection. In summer, we recommend using the hotel’s parking, which was €8 per day.

Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Mojacar is a medieval Moorish, town in the Spanish Province of Almería. This white-walled destination, which is situated on a rocky hillside at the foot of the Sierra de Cabrera, will surprise you with its natural beauty and unique architecture.   

Rich in history and cultural heritage, Mojacar has been populated since the 2000 BC by Moors, Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians and Romans. Today, it is a maze of narrow streets with local shops, street markets and restaurants serving traditional dishes like the ancient 'gachas'.

We visit the same five restaurants regularly and find they cater for our needs very well . We have a rappour with the owners of one and with staff in others. Mojacar has a large choice of bars , restaurants and clubs that cater for everyone and live music is available .

We know Mojacar well, we actually live locally and needed a few days away while contractors were in our property. Mojácar offers a range of options but it is not Benidorm or Malaga... thankfully. Beaches are great, food is very good but again, do not expect to pay Benidorm prices, ergo drinks, etc. You will eat some very good food, the beers and wines are also very good. I understand that the local bus service is very good. Good family place if you do not expect to be entertained all the time. You make your own.

Mojacar Playa is exceptional and would defenitely stay there...

Mojacar Playa is exceptional and would defenitely stay there again. Mojacar town and Old Town are very attractive however it is built on the side of a large hill and with that comes the challenges of parking and walking up steep hills. If you are walker or a mountain goat it is fine but not for us.

Liked the long beach front walkway at 2.5 km, liked the choice of restaurants but lack of shops, liked the local bus service and general appearance of resort. Beaches are not as good as Costa Blanca for sand quality and length

I liked Mojácar there is plenty to do. Beach and great.

I liked Mojácar there is plenty to do. Beach and great. Other facilities are first class. Wildlife and nature is a short distance away flamingo etc. Mojacar is easy to get around. Groucho stake restaurant is rather good, great meat dishes and service, best booking in advance gets booked up.

The fact there was no pool, terrace or relaxation area due...

The fact there was no pool, terrace or relaxation area due to extensive building works inside and out and NO notification from BOOKING.COM spoilt our anniversary weekend. The extra we paid for an upgraded sea view room was pointless due to noise and the view of the building site. We opted to change rooms to a standard room at the back of the hotel which was overlooked by another block. Noise and dirt outside and painters working in the corridor creating paint odour added to our disappointment. The standard room did not have any of the extras in the premium room e.g. coffee making facilities and to cap it off, the aircon didn't work and reception staff could not find any fans. 2 nights of unbearable heat and NO sleep Have stayed at the Parador previously and enjoyed the pool and landscapes gardens and as photos of the pool are still appearing on several websites it was a shock to see the grounds in such a mess. Reception said they had informed all their booking agents of this disruption but obviously BOOKING.COM failed to pass this onto guests

The property was delightful - right in the centre of Mojácar pueblo and was a sympathetically renovated house. Fantastic views, from 3 terraces. We really loved watching the sun go down with a lovely bottle of wine and nibbles from the fridge using the honesty box. Attention to detail throughout the property :)

Hotel was perfect location in the village by two bus stops so you can bus it up into village centre or bus down to mojacar playa for €1.20 rooms were great for the price & pool & gardens lovely. Breakfast was spot on to start the day spanish style served by the lovely lady

The beds were very comfortable, as were the pillows. The rooms were cleaned every day. We had clean towels every day. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Overall, it's a nice little Spainish hotel.
