SpainFrom start to finish - our stay was perfect. My daughter and I wanted a break away to relax and unwind and Valle de Este delivered on every front.
Check-in staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and comfortable.
We enjoyed the spa facilities (the view out to the mountains is unreal) followed by a wonderful massage.
Then dinner was great too, with a good selection of fresh, tasty and high quality options.
We slept soundly and then enjoyed a hearty breakfast before leaving (which I really didn't want to do)
I can only say I recommend the place without hesitation and can't wait to return as soon as I possibly can.

Vera Playa is a beautiful white sand Spanish beach with...
Vera Playa is a beautiful white sand Spanish beach with large nudist and non nudist areas. Everyone is very relaxed happy and respectful to each other.
There are a number of great beach restaurants and bars in both areas on the beach. All age groups use the beach from small children to the elderly and all seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Nice little town (stayed at Vera Beach not Vera) Very clean and well maintained public areas. Beaches were cleaned every day. Good sized supermarket (Consum) in the centre. Vera itself is a couple of miles inland from Vera Beach area where we stayed so be aware of that.

We loved the town of Garrucha in Vera which is a short drive...
We loved the town of Garrucha in Vera which is a short drive from the hotel. It is a working port with plenty of activity and from the leisure point of view many private yachts moored. Many bars/restaurants along the front with great beaches.

We love Vera, having spent holidays on Al Andalus...
We love Vera, having spent holidays on Al Andalus residential in previous years, we are familiar with the area and the surrounding areas such as Garrucha and Mojacar and visited them on this occasion also. We were saddened that El Gnomo Feliz was no longer open as this was always a handy go to restaurant for this complex and was a firm favourite for many years. However, there are many other splendid restaurants no further than 20 minutes away on the hourly bus route.

Vera is not the most interesting place to visit.
Vera is not the most interesting place to visit. In November, traffic is very heavy, and parking is restricted. Vera seemed spread out; we didn't find a centre, which is probably down to us not being able to park.

Spotlessly clean, both on and off the beach. Possibly the longest and deepest [in places] stretches of beach that I've ever visited.
I was self-catering, in an apartment and the local supermarket was nearby and very reasonably priced.

For the money it was excellent value, mini bar is extra but you can use the fridge. We didn't eat so we cannot comment, we got a sea view but the hotel was not busy and we did not pay for that, it's worth the upgrade.
No kettle or hot drinks facility in the room... Brits expect that. I didn't because I live in Spain.
We stayed two nights for a wedding, and I would stay again

Perfect size and equipped with all the necessities. It was a short stroll to the beach. A grocery store is directly across from the property as are several restaurants and shops. Great location!
